This container does hold the heat well. We use it to pack a warm meal for our daughter at school. She tells me that the food is still warm when she has lunch. I know the first day we packed this for her, she forgot it, so when she brought it home from school the food was not warm, but we are talking 10 hours later.I have not tried to keep food cold, but keeping food warm is no issue.

Beautiful design but very very small! I had wanted to use it for my 1st grader for lunch, and it probably is suitable for a 6 month old.

Useful for keeping drinks cold but the dinosaur design ended up coming off after a few washes. Because of that I only gave this 2 stars.

this thermos is very nice but the color blue from the top and bottom of the food jar is not the same as the one I got, which is much darker.

My osn is very happy with the dinosaur funtainer, I did not give it 5 stars because of the hassle of having topoour in hot water first to enable this thing to keep food warm, it should just do so I think. Also I thought the price was a bit much for a funtainer but it is some kind of special edition. Oh well, my son is happy and then so am I.

I purchased the thermos for my 3 year olds lunch. Her school does not hear up food, so I needed something to keep it warm. I pack her lunch at 7:30am and by noon it is still warm. She is able to take the lid off by herself and the container has never leaked. It is easy to wash. She loves the butterflies and it gets her excited to want to eat her lunch. She is a picky eater. Great product.

great quality, easy to clean, very durable. Keeps food cold for several hours! Haven't tested how well it keeps food warm but will be trying soup in it soon. My son loves the pattern. Good size for smaller kids.
