Superb quality

Excellent quality but the stay cool handles become very hot even on induction. I have very cheap ss kadai, whose hollow handles do not heat at all on induction. Food do not stick if water bead test is followed, i.e. the kadai is heated properly.

This kadai is ideal for both sweet making and curries. We use it frequently rather than our other kadai’s even though sometimes its size is bigger than required. Plus point is that the handles won’t heat up on full flame. It is easily washable and we are using it for almost 5 years, still it looks like new one. I can recommend this to everyone looking for thick kadai which is easily manageable.

The kadhai is heavy and sturdy. Works well on induction as well as gas cook tops. Easy to clean. Handles remain cool. Over all this is a good product. But a bit costly.

In India, most households use aluminum for cooking not just from a monetary standpoint but also because aluminum (copper too) is a far better conductor of heat than stainless steel and therefore the vessel base heats evenly without having the localized hotspot over the flame area seen in the stainless steel vessels. The consequence of this superior thermal conduction is that the aluminum vessel cooks/fries your food evenly and is less likely to burn your food like stainless steel does. However this comes with one big caveat ie: Aluminum leaches into food and once it enters your system the body has no idea how to eliminate it and these molecules finally get deposited into tissue including brain matter and studies have associated prolonged aluminum ingestion to diseases such as Alzheimer’s. Moreover, using a stainless steel stirring spoon with an aluminum vessel further aggravates the leaching as stainless steel being harder than aluminum easily scratches bits of aluminum off. Using a wooden spoon with aluminum vessels does help prevent this to a great extent….. but I digress…. The reason I bought this pan was because, having a sandwiched layer of aluminum between the two stainless steel sheets, you get all the advantages of the even heating of aluminum vessels but your food is only in contact with the far safer stainless steel. Having used the pans for almost a year, I can safely say these were well worth it. I have been trying to migrate from Teflon non-stick pans (due to recent studies regarding carcinogens present in non-stick coatings) and these pans fit the bill perfectly!!! I also bought this product Bergner Stainless Steel Frypan, 20cm and it's equally good!!

this wok is not big enough for cooking. Not even for 1 person. I will never ever use this wok and I wouldn't order from this company again!

Healthy utensils

Nice cooking on it. It’s small & cute . I normally use it for vegetables stir fry and deep frying. Since it’s small … suitable for small quantity only .
