Our household received a free Star Wars Scream Saber Lightsaber Toy and our two boys' liked it so much that we ended up purchasing another!My boys, ages 4 and 6, haven't been introduced to the Star Wars movies yet but know enough about the SW universe that they get it. Plus swords, boys love swords so this toy was basically guaranteed to be a hit in our house.At first glance, it's easy to understand this toy. The lightsaber extends out with the flick of the wrist and built-in LEDs light up the blue plastic for a cool lightsaber effect. The coolest feature has to be the voice recording and changing effect. By pressing the red button, the user can speak into the sword and apply different Star Wars voices.A fair warning to parents who are easily annoyed - this thing makes a lot of noise and kids will definitely abuse the voice recording feature over and over again. Still, a great toy that my kids play with again and again!

Pretty unique birthday gift for my son. He loves it. Makes his own sounds. The saber distorts the recording in correspondence to the swinging motion. Really hilarious stuff. It's a clever toy. Some times the telescopic extending in and out feature can get stuck. However, this is easily remedied by twisting it slightly. Really cool light saber. Just prepare for endless hours of fun for the kids, but adult might lose their sense of humor after awhile. Pick out a quiet hiding place and some headache medicine before purchasing. Or, or, hear me out now; Buy this for someone else's kid whose parents you want to annoy. Yes, very evil. Do it! *Evil Cackling*

It's actually a pretty nifty lightsaber toy, with sturdy construction and fantastic sound effects. Of course that latter is what will drive a parent crazy after about a half-hour of playtime. The biggest feature is how kids can record their own voice, which will then be repeated as she swings the sword around the room, bouncing its rigid plastic blade off lamps and walls and couches and at times a parent's head. I mean, taking away the irony that using one's own voice as a weapon was a Dune feature (which Lucas admitted inspired Star Wars) and not in Star Wars, but if I hear my son's five-year-old shrill scream on modulating repeat one more time, I'm going to burn Lucas' ranch down.

Good size. Decent build quality. And excellent sound features. I only wish collapsed size was smaller but my kid doesn't seem to mind.Sturdy. We hit pretty decent with these and no signs of breaking.Amazing sound features. The obvious ones that are advertised and better. And decent audio quality. Varied clash sounds when hit. Hum sound.Light is a little weak but the battery life is quite good.The price quite fair. We bought one and then two more. Very happy with this purchase and my son loves them!

Honestly, I just got this because of an old meme video I saw when a grown ass dude with his friends were having the time of their life playing with this lightsaber. Worth the price for a few laughs using it every now and then and a good gift as well if you know someone who knows the original video.Will definitely buy again as a gift for friends who don't really act their age lmao.

I wasn't sure if this would be okay for my 3 year old grandson. But it is holding up just great! And I love how it records your own voice! And I like how it folds down so you can store it. And you don't have to worry about putting it away and tipping over and breaking. Great item for the price point. And I did my research on this before purchasing it. And I have to say it's been great no issues at all with this light Saber!

Dangerous AND noisy…. So of course the kids love it and won’t put it down.
