Earthwood Toys I-pals Leopard Print Speaker in Disp Box

I own the white vinyl version of this "thing." Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to test it before buying it. The sound is absolutely horrible. Tinny at best with absolutely NO bass. It's weighted funny as well (it's heavy), and it doesn't stand up on it's own well. The plastic on/off switch for the speakers is flimsy and out of site so I forget I have to turn it off when pulling out my ipod or the batteries will die. The speaker antennae are flexible to a degree, but not much.I spent $20 on this thing. What a waste. Even as a "child's toy" it is a huge disappointment. Spend the money on something that is educational and sounds descent.

if you just want to get someone something cute for a present, this is a great idea, but if you want for the I-pal as a speaker for long term use, it isn't the greatest. It consumes batteries, and if the wire isn't placed just right, your music will be static.

I bought this as a gift for my adult son's girlfriend who loves anything leopard print. She likes it and says the sound from the speakers is great!
