stealth core
very good glove. originally purchased these for light contact in high school coaching duties and was to give my son my under armours. my son opted for these instead coming off a size 12 glove to these at size 13. kind of snug fitting, but in a good way and fit his smaller hand better than the under armours that are a bit bigger in size (padding) and fit. the stealth core has a very good palm giving a nice stick feel after getting them a little sweaty at the wall, and with the snug fit may give a better feel than the under armours. the under armour's may offer slightly more padding/protection, but all lax gear has a trade off of protection vs flexibility. however, the padding looks like a nice high density and there is a very nice protective piece on the back of the hand, where the logo is. possibly something from easton's hockey roots. some have mentioned it may get in the way of wrist movement but i haven't found that to be the case. with the high school preseason just beginning my son has't gotten any good checks on them yet to test the protective factor, but i'll edit the text if it falls short on the field. this glove does not have a wrist collar, if you like to flick off your gloves for water yet keep them attached at the wrist. that's about the only negative i see in these gloves, and a minor point. another comment i've seen about these is the unusual break point for the last (top) digit of the gloves. the break point does not line up with the first joint in your fingers. flexibility is very good right out of the box and not impaired by this off-set flex point, and a solid piece of padding over the joint is not a bad thing.don't confuse these 'core' model gloves with the original easton stealth glove. the original had huge protection, but at the expense of the flexibility of this model. the stealth core may not have all of the bells and whistles of the top shelf gear, but they come pretty close and as easton is moving out of the lax market these gloves have been offered at crazy prices making this an incredible bang for the buck. 5+ stars for value and 4 for overall against higher priced gloves.

Lower cost, lower quality.
I thought I was going to be pleased with this product. A colleague of mine has a pair and he enjoys them, however within minutes of putting them on an impact caused my thumb to rip right through the fabric, rendering the right glove useless. It tore the seam bad enough I could not repair it. I purchased a pair of similar gloves from a different manufacturer a year or so ago and rode those gloves hard. They are just now starting to break down. These gloves seemed solid but the stitching and cloth under the palm seems thin and weak.

Great gloves.
These gloves are great. Allows good range of motion while wearing. My friend and I use these in our bo staff training to take the sting out of random hits to the hands/fingers. Would buy again.

Perfect for floor hockey
I use these for floor hockey (which uses a ball, which is not as hard as a real puck). They fit well, are comfortable, and I have no trouble holding the stick with them.

Great gloves/value
Exactly what I was looking for. Cheapest quality gloves on Amazon. I use them for street hockey and they are perfect.

Really good protection for a really good price
The only reason I did not choose a 5 star rating is because we did not have a wide option of colors- we wanted black but settled for the dark blue because the price was excellent.Bought these for my son, who spars with swords. He needed protection on the tops of his fingers and hands, while needing the material on the palm of his hand to be thin enough to feel his sword through the fabric. These are perfect for that. The tops of the fingers are jointed so that your fingers have as much movement and ability to bend as if he were not wearing gloves at all. Nice item for a good price. We will be ordering these in the future when/if the first pair wears out.
