The device has a base that the grater ataches to by rotating it on to the base. If you are not careful it will rotate and detach while grating. The handle you turn to grate snaps on with a small locking device and again if it is not locked on real well the handle will detach while grating. If you firmly attach the handle and are careful not to rotatewhile grating it works quickly to grate a bunch of cheese. You must attach the whole thing to the counter with the suction cup, which works real well, or one of the above will surely happen. We will see if the handle lock holds up, but the whole thing seems somewhat flimsy.

I purchased this product to replace an electric shredder that quit working. The item I grate most often is cheddar cheese. I've used this several times now, I find it easy to use and quick to clean up. At first I thought there was a problem with the suction, but then I found that if I give the knob one extra tiny turn before using it, it holds securely. Thank you for a good, common sense product.

Originally received order with no handle, but was quickly reconciled. Ground some chicken, peppers and an onion. Found that there's a little bit too big of gap between the cutting edge and the peripheral wall; led to a build on that wall. Worked ok but you had to clear that and re-feed it. Other than that had no other problems, handle stayed on fine even under stress.

It seems to work as it’s supposed to. I grated a whole block of cheese in minutes, easy to clean, easy to use. Wish I had this sooner.

I love the concept of this. I use shredded cheese at least 3 times a week, and I hoped that this would help get it shredded a little more easily. The biggest problem I have is that once you get down to the last little chunk of cheese, it gets "pulled" into the device and just kind of goes around with the shredder instead of actually being shredded. Its a little frustrating and makes cleaning a bit more difficult. Other than that, its a great device and super handy to have!

It arrived in a box that was all beat up and one cylinder (the one I use the most) was bent...but still works well enough that I decided not to send it back. The product itself is ok, but a bit flimsy. It's the crank...it fits, but doesn't feel sturdy. So...I guess you get what you pay for. The suction is Great! I primarily use it to grind up my Romano Cheese so have not used the other cylinders. I plan to try carrots for my soup and will update when that happens.

We don’t buy shredded cheese we buy blocks and shred our own. The last one we had we got for like $8 at Aldi and it lasted a few months, this one cracked and broke after using for a week or 2. We just started using our food processor with the shred blade because all of the graters we’ve read reviews on have had the same issue, cracking and breaking shortly after purchasing if used often.

I purchased this item in June of 2020 and it broke in September of 2020!! The clear part of the item broke at all 4 screws as I was grating cheese. I have put an email into the selling and they are suppose to respond in at least 48 hours, but I have not heard from them.

Si funciona solo que la verdura tiene que estar firme para que realice bien su trabajo yacasi para acabar a veces se queda la verdura atorada. pero es facil de desarmar y lavar
