Noticeable drop in sugar spike
Usually with 200g of cooked rice, my blood sugar spikes to 220-230, but with this it doesn't go above 180. Good product. Tastes very similar to regular rice as well.

Love this product
I recently discovered SugarWatcher Lo Sugar Rice, and it has been a game-changer for my diet. This rice is perfect for those looking to cut down on their sugar intake without sacrificing taste or quality. The grains cook up fluffy and tender, with a subtle sweetness that's just right. I love how versatile it is—I can pair it with almost any dish, from stir-fries to curries, and it always complements the flavors beautifully. Plus, knowing that it's lower in sugar gives me peace of mind about making healthier choices. Highly recommend SugarWatcher Lo Sugar Rice for anyone looking to enjoy delicious rice while managing their sugar intake!

Glycemic control is better
I tried 100gm dry rice (220gm cooked)with ghee and yoghurt - The pre-rice blood sugar was 91 mg/dl and ONE HOUR PPBS was only 130mg/dl . Generally, with same amount of white rice or even brown basmati rice - it used to be close to 150mg/dl.So, I think the Low glycemic index of 51 is probably correct. The rice itself is more chewey and less soft than usual basmati rice. The idea is to cook it with more water 1:2 and take fat and protein with it - this optimises the glycemic index.

Suits for me
Earlier it was " Diabetic Frendly", after noticing the comments from some of the reviews from previous users they have modified the packing, but it is not 100% diabetic friendly. But somehow I lile it.My sugar readings before was140 and after consuming this went up to 217.Each individual must carry out similar checks to make sure it is working for them.
