Lock and Love Women's Faux Leather Moto Biker Jacket Coat with Removable or Non-Removable Hood

****UPDATED 4 YEARS LATER***** I’ve worn this jacket for motorcycle rides, in rain storms, dang near everywhere. I don’t exactly beat it up but I don’t exactly baby it either. I’ve had it for 4 years and have worn it hundreds of times in hundreds of scenarios. It’s still gorgeous to wear, and I still get the “I know I look cute in this” confidence boost whenever I wear it. Every stitch is still in place, the color has never faded from any part of it (and I once left it in the trunk area my hatchback for like 2 months where Sunlight could have hit it, who knows. I thought I had lost it, lol!). It is still one of my favorite jackets to wear, period, and has completely held up beyond most of what’s hanging in my closet. Just go ahead and buy it already. I promise you, it’s more than worth every penny. ****END OF UPDATE. Also, no one ever paid me for this review or the update. I don’t even remember if that was a thing yet back when I bought this. It really is just a good jacket at a good price that has served me well for literal years now**** This sat on my wish list for a long time while I read reviews, unsure whether or not this would fit or even look like the picture. I finally took the plunge, and OMG. This jacket is buttery soft, has the perfect weight where it's warm enough for chilly walks to my car but not too hot, and looks exactly like the pictures!! The stitching looks just fine, there was no smell that I ever noticed, and it fit beautifully straight out of the package. I want to wear this jacket every single day forever. Also, I'm 5'8", and am slim but have long arms. The Medium size was perfect for me. The arms were even long enough, and the jacket is form fitting and very flattering without being too tight.

I'm so happy with this jacket. I had originally gotten it in a medium--I'm 5'1" and petite, but rather busty. The medium was nicely fitted in the waist, but was a bit tight in the chest and shoulders when it was zipped up. I returned that and reordered in a large (returning was simple and quick too, so that's a plus!). The large is a much better fit, especially for when I start wearing bulkier sweaters underneath. I do wish it was just a tad longer--it hits me just above the widest part of my hips. I would say it runs fairly true to size, so long as you like slim-fit jackets. If you like it a little loose, get a size up. I like how it tapers at the waist a bit, making it super flattering rather than boxy, even in a slightly baggier size. This is a jacket that, the second you put it on, you know you look and feel cool. I'm super surprised with how warm this jacket is too--it's way heavier than it looks, and though the zip-in hoodie part is only a few inches wide, it's thicker than I expected and warm. The faux leather is butter soft, it could easily be mistaken for real leather. It did have a small amount of plastic-y smell when it came out of the box, but a warm damp cloth run over it took care of it. The zippers on the pockets are a little stiff, but at least I know that nothing will fall out. The chest zipper pockets are just for show--no actual pocket there, but the normal pockets are a good size, where I could stuff both my keys and phone in one without visible bulkiness. All in all, I am absolutely in love with this jacket.

Cons: 1. No detachable hood came with the order. 2. Sizing is on the smaller side. For reference, I'm 5'3" tall, weigh around 170, and I normally wear a women's size 10 or 12. Mostly wear size L in women's tops, but I went up to xl. It fit like a glove. I'm sure I won't be able to wear a Hoodie or a very thick sweater under it. If you are wanting to wear a hoodie, etc., underneath the jacket, go up 2 full sizes than your normal size. Seriously, it runs small. 3. It will be unlikely that this will serve as nothing more than a light fall jacket. Pros: 1. It looks very nice and extremely flattering to my short, but curvy shape. And, being short, it fit great length-wise. It hit about 2 inches below my midrise waist jeans. The only issue I had, was the sleeves were too long. But I simply rolled the cuffs up at the cuff seam, and it looks just as good. 2. With my nice slacks and good jewelry, this passes as well-made knock-off. In fact, I got the camel color, and I get compliments all the time. 3. You can't beat this price for such a good-looking jacket. Overall, I'm very pleased with this jacket, and I will definately order more in other xolors. Just remember to order up at least 1 size, 2 is better if you want to layer.

I LOVE this jacket! I like the style that has zippers best. I accidentally got a different style when getting a different color, but it was a nice jacket it was just more wide in the arms, and the sweater part wasn't long enough for my arms. But the leather that has longer arms and zippers fits me best. It has thinner arms and covers my wrists. the breast pocket zippers are fake. They are not real bummer. But the normal hand pockets are real. I got this coat in red as well! I am very cozy in my jackets perfect for my fall and winter days!

The material is fine. Loved the look. If I could zip it up I would have kept it. Loved the sleeves and the leather vest. But I wear a size large normally and I sized up to a 2XL to be safe because of the reviews and it was like wearing a medium if anything. The sleeves fit perfect the length was fine. But trying to zip it would not have worked it almost fit perfect is. The breast area but couldn’t even touch the zipped in the waist area. Other wise a good product. Sucks because I loved the style.

Fits great. Came earlier than expected. Excellent service will buy again.

Looks as pictured. Love the color. Comfortable and the quality seems pretty good. The sleeves are long on me but i tend to have that issue when petite sizing isn't an option. Might order another in a different color!
