Perfect collectors knife
A Case XX collector's pocket knife is more than just a piece of steel and bone; it's a testament to a timeless tradition of American craftsmanship. Whether you're drawn to the classic utility of a Trapper, the intricate beauty of a stag-handled Stockman, or the unique appeal of a limited-edition release, the world of Case XX collecting offers endless fascination. Each knife tells a story, and for the discerning collector, that narrative is as valuable as the knife itself. This particular knife has a canoe etched into the blade. It’s the perfect size and is light weight. The price seems to be right on point and comparable to others of the same caliber. The case knives are always sharp when they arrive to you and do not disappoint. They have great grip and rust resistance for everyday use if you choose to. You will be happy with this purchase.

Perfect Little Daily Carrier! I Love The Size And Balance Of This Knife
I ordered the Antique Bone Baby Butterbean X-small knife with no canoe or inscriptions on the blade. I really love this little knife. I have several Case knives and this one came to me in perfect condition! Everything fits together exactly and there are no burrs or edges that are not flush. The blades are tight and snap into place and the finish is immaculate. This knife is so well balanced that I can spin it on a hard surface and it will spin like one of those toys the kids are playing with for a very long time. I like to do that at my desk or when I am sitting around doing nothing as it is relaxing and enjoyable. The blades and body are stainless steel and came straight out of the box with a nice edge. The color of the handle is subtle and bone colored with nice tone on the side with the Case insignia. The other side is less colorful but still nice to look at. Overall I think this will be my new daily carrier and I am VERY happy with the quality and the price. It is the perfect size for carrying around in your pocket for opening packages and envelopes and when you just need a blade. I like this knife better than the other "small" knives like the mini stockman and the peanut because the main blade is wider and more heavy duty. This is a great addition to any knife collection for guys who just love knives.

Great Gentleman's Knife
My second Case knife and this one is even better than the Peanut I purchased. It's compact size disappears in the pocket and the blades make quick work of the cutting tasks I need at work i.e. opening letters and boxes, food prep in the breakroom and makes a great fidget spinner that does not freak out my coworkers. Fit and finish is excellent, blades were centered and sharp and the stag handles had a lot of figure on them. A very classy gentleman's pocket carry knife or a backup to a tactical folder.

The Canoe you can use
Case knives have been around for a long time. This "canoe" knife is slightly larger than my other case knives due to the fatter blades, as you can see from the photo it has a nice picture etched showing a canoe on a river. Companies like this are a rare breed in today's market. Case Cutlery produce fantastic knives that are ageless classic design. Well Made: Top quality materials, stays sharp and easy to maintain, blades are sandwiched between two polished brass plates for smooth operation. Handle: Made from real bone, giving the knife a great appearance and sure grip. Everything about the knife spells craftsmanship. right down to the brass rivets, and mirror polished parts with a nice solid heft when holding the knife.

Needed to return the knife
All in all this is a terrific Canoe and I love the Peach Seed Amber jigged bone. In all I currently have four Case knives in this jigging pattern. What sets the Canoe apart is the blade etch of a Native American paddling a canoe. The CV blades are also a nice touch. This would've been a five star review with the exception of one little glitch. The knife had a significant issue with the small pen blade when I first received it. It would slide over when the main blade was opened and prevent then prevent the blade from closing. My choices were to send it back for a refund or send it to Case for repair. I opted to send it to Case and they repaired it right away. (By right away, I mean 4 to 6 weeks turn-around time) In the end, I'm very satisfied with the knife and also the service provided by the seller on Amazon. The problem was a factory defect. It was not something the seller could have anticipated. Had they checked out the knife before shipping it to me, I would've complained that the knife wasn't new. Case made the mistake at the factory. These things happen and as Case has a life time warranty, these things get fixed. So one star off for customer aggravation on what is otherwise a 5 star product and 5 star service. If you collect Case knives, then you know what you're getting. USA quality at a USA price. Can you get less expensive knives of the same quality. Yes, but they want be American made. Can you get a better American made knife, than a Case. Absolutely but not for a lower price. And if you look around, the best prices on Case knives, tend to be right here on Amazon. You can't beat that with a stick!

It’s a Case.
The canoe is one of the most recognizable folding knife patterns. Case has mastered it. Very pleased with the fit and finish.

Really small, but that's the beauty...
This knife arrived today. I was surprised at how small it is. I was going to return it. Then, I noticed how nice the sambar stag scales looked. Both blades were quite sharp, with good snap opening and closing. The more I handled it, the more I liked it. I have decided to carry it along with a larger flipper knife, and pull out the baby Butterbean to use when I'm around "sensitive" people.
