🔗 Unlock timeless lens magic with precision and durability!
The M42-FD Lens Adapter enables mounting of M42 screw lenses onto FD mount film cameras like Canon F-1 and A-1, offering manual diaphragm control without electronic communication. Built from durable alloy, it supports vintage lens enthusiasts seeking authentic manual focus and aperture operation, though it lacks auto-focus and infinity focus capabilities on some lens-body combos.

Nice slim adapter.
Nice adapter to use with my Canon AE1-P. Doesn't have ability to depress aperture pin of m42 lenses so you can only have it on lenses with A/M switch for full aperture functionality.

NO infinity focus
this adapter does not allow infinity focus with my Pentax lenses to Canon t70 body.

Maybe make it a bit less slidy
This thing is rather loose when not tightened. Once the moment of inertia is overcome it will just slide around.

Great M42 to FD Adapter
I’ve used this to adapt several Takumar and Helios M42 lenses to my Canon A-1. It works great. Even the ones with the Auto/Manual tab work well, since the lens mount adapter depresses the pin. Easy to swap out lenses. Focus range seems unaffected. Obviously, you won’t be able to control any lens features via the camera body. Everything will need to be manual.

Works good with very minimal jiggle. Worth the price 👍

You can’t control aperture with this adapter .
After a whole roll I realized that the aperture pin was not being pressed by the adapter . Every shot gets taken wide open no matter what aperture you select.

bad quality, doesnt even work with some m42 lenses
not sure if o got a defect, but the ring is made out of really cheap materials, and the fd lock ring cant even close all the way when mounted on the camera. not to mention how hard is it to get it off - i worry it will brake and get stuck on my camera. cant depress the pins of my m42 lenses, so the adapter is pretty much useless (unless i want to shoot specificly wide open)
