Worth every penny.I winced a little at the price point, and when I purchased it there were no reviews, so I had that low-grade "I'm buying something a little blind" on the internet when I clicked "add to cart" and then bought it.Arrived early (which I'm not sure I can completely credit the seller for, but still it's nice). Well packaged for shipping, and the box it comes in is very nice - high end. This would make a very suitable (and likely very original!) gift for a discriminating individual.The umbrella itself looks exactly as it does in the pictures, but is even more handsome in person. It also feels sturdy and well made. The auto open/close functions well, and (perhaps more important) when you close it and collapse the telescoping part down to shorten it, it comes together with a very solid and satisfying click.I bought this to use as a sun shade in the city -- doctor's orders that not one but two methods be used to prevent extensive UV exposure be employed, and I figured if I was going to need a "parasol" I might as well make a statement.This umbrella does, and quite beautifully. Highly recommend.

I really like this umbrella for Autumn and into Winter. The pattern works with so many colors - black, brown, gold and my while raincoat. For a travel umbrella, it's a very nice size. My only comment is that it's sturdy and thus one must be strong to fully close the travel size. It's certainly not flimsy, but it does require a slight "push" to securely close the travel size. This is the only reason I gave it four (4) stars - otherwise, I do love this trave umbrella!

Beautiful!!

The size of this umbrella is perfect for me when I am walking around with a backpack on - it covers all completely. The pattern is beautiful and the umbrella seems stable. One of the reasons I bought this umbrella was because it says it is windproof which is what I need as we tend to get serious wind gusts at times but, the tag that was attached to the umbrella says it is windproof and then it gives the following tip "if umbrella inverts in strong windows: press the button to close it, then open it again" - so it's not windproof otherwise there wouldn't be a need for the tip of it flipping in strong winds? Just to be on the safe side I will use this umbrella most of the time but when we do have strong winds I'm going to use my other strong stick umbrella so that I don't damage this expensive beautiful umbrella in strong winds. Other than that I LOVE it.Updated 2 months later: This umbrella is not wind proof - it has flipped inside out in strong winds, very disappointed. Changed rating to 2 stars because of that. Now I need to find a new stronger umbrella for windy day.
