This is my first lapel microphone and I could not be happier with it. I have been searching a long time for the right one, reading comments and doing research and once I came accross this item I had a good feeling. I needed to make a video very similar to ASMR for a project but without a microphone it was not working out well. That is when I started searching for the lapel. The lapel comes with a really nice carry case so the microphone does not get lost along with the adapters. I plugged it into my phone and started making my video and could not believe how well it came out!! I was whispering and the video captured it and I could understand everything I was saying. So, this microphone works very well even with a whisper. It does not pick up on background noise either. From now on I will be using this microphone when I make videos and other projects that require a microphone. Very happy with this purchase and it was worth every penny. Would recommend this item for sure!

I just boosted my review from 3 to 5 stars.The first unit I received had a broken lightning adapter. The mic worked fine, but the adapter was DOA.I contacted PowerDeWise support directly over email, and they shipped me an entirely new mic and functional lightning adapter, so I now have two working mics and one working adapter. That's awesome, because I may end up getting a Y-Connector for recording two people.The audio quality is great for the price. I suspect that some of the very expensive lapel mics may have a little edge on quality, but bang for the buck on this mic is huge.

This microphone is a great purchase if you’re on a budget and you are looking for high quality audio. The length of cable they provide is more than enough if you’re going to be standing within a 12 foot distance, the microphone that attaches to your shirt picks up your voice really well And when you’re moving around it does not sound bad at all. I would not suggest this if you were trying to go far distance and you’re moving around too much. If you have this microphone plugged into a device or your iPhone and it is next to another electric device like a light then you will start to hear a little bit of a buzzing noise because of the electronic interference.

I bought these as a way to record an audio recording of a book (for my own personal purposes). I didn't want to drop the $300+ on a professional "starter" set-up that a lot of podcasters use. I just needed something basic that was going to capture audio better than the on-board mic on my iPhone.This is very easy to use. Has an adapter to my iPhone so it can adjust to their input jack. The audio quality is fair, and for my purposes, "fair" is all I need. However, I will say this a lot better than I expected.The price is very fair for what it does.

Bought this primarily for recoding videos with my M1 Macbook Pro 14in 2021.Unfortunately, the mic records a very, very high static noise in the background when plugged into the Macbook; after some debugging, found out the issue goes away when the external monitor (plugged into the macbook via HDMI cable) is unplugged. It's so loud that makes the entire recording unusable.Also, when touching the macbook pro chassis (thereby grounding it) the noise disappears.Reaching out to customer support (which is awesome btw, they have Whatsapp support and are very, very fast to answer) they said they have already shielded the microphone, and there's nothing that can be done.So, despite being a great product for other uses, it's unusable for mine, since I need the external monitor plugged in while recording.

Bought for zoom meetings but you can't hear anyone when it's plugged in so it's basically a paperweight.

Purchased to use for better sound quality while filming YouTube videos on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Surprisingly, the quality is sharp and crystal clear. It’s easy to use. I love that it comes with additional attachments to extend the cord if/as needed. And attachments to connect to other devices.

I bought this mic based on all these great reviews and the value, and found it to be anything but great. The signal is not clear, it picks up static, it easily distorts. I work in music production and audio, so I know what I'm talking about as I regularly use lav mics for work. I was hoping this would be worth it, but it wasn't. Spend more money if you care about how your mic sounds.
