Forney 87799 Acetylene Regulator Adaptor, CGA 300 To CGA 510, #3 Tank to Regulator, 80-CF

I had a difficult time trying to find the right adapter for my Acetylene regulator to the tank. I finally came across this, purchased it and was delivered within several days. I've been using it now for over a month and it's been working great.

Got me out of a bind. I have a victor regulator with CGA-510 male connection. The usual type of acetylene bottle I have has a female connection so it was no problem. However the spare acetylene bottle has a male connection and it wouldn’t work without this adapter or changing fittings.

This is a product that only a welder would need. It is a neutral product so far as rating it. It works fine for what is made for. When you need it, it's the only thing that will work. When you don't need it, it just sits in your tool box.

This is a very simple and effective adapter for older style tank valves to modern CGA-510 regulators. The adapter threaded cleanly onto the tank and reg and holds pressure with no leaks

Worked well to convert my Victor ESS4 acetylene regulator to a 300 style connector.
