It's a 6' flexible masonry bit
Does exactly what it's supposed to do. I've used it to drill through about a foot of brick at maybe a 40 degree bend and it's worked great. No signs of wear.

Great for going under sidewalk
Awesome, took like 15 min to get under the sidewalk and pull landscape lighting through!!!

Flexible and works
Maybe I spoke too soon. It works, just need a bigger size. 1/4th is false, it's more like 1/8th.

Great bit very handy
I needed to run a new receptacle over an existing fireplace which required drilling horizontally over the fireplace. This bit went through cinder block with ease. Also went through brick with a little more effort. I got the 1/4” shank which is great and does have a little flex but obviously not as much as a smaller shank. I have a wood drill bit with a 3/16” shank and that thing can make a 90degree bend and still drill a hole. You might be able to get a 45 degree angle with this 1/4” shank, maybe! But since I was drilling through brick I was glad I got the larger shank as it required a lot more forward pressure and a small shank would have been bending and flexing too much during drilling.

Got the job done
I was really impressed by this little guy. God the job done, and made me a tidy sum too. Literally paid for itself many times over.

"Flexible"? Not remotely.
Very stiff. Just a very long, inflexible, drill bit.

Is it the bit or me?
I needed to drill a hole for an outdoor light fixture. The hole was to be frilled in a brick and mortar lamp standard about 4 foot tall. The bit worked good at first, then began to bog down. I was using a 1/2 hp hammer drill, which seemed to turn it ok but not great. The bit finally became stuck in the boring hole and was not removable. It broke in the hole leaving me without a bit and about a foot short of my goal. I don't know if it was the bit or my use of it because I have never attempted anything like this before.

Important for remodeling.
This bit is one of those tool's you rarely need, and when you do, you need it now! I had to run new electrical wire in a cinder block wall from the attic, was a struggle. I tried various ways unsuccessfully I mite add. Before I found this bit. Was stiff enough to apply pressure yet flexible enough that I could get it where I needed in my short attic. Made short work of something that I fought for a week. Glad I have, price was great. Prompt delivery.

Don't buy this item
Probably the lowest quality drill bit you could possibly find. Total garbage. Save your money.
