I'm teaching myself gymnastics ans fall a lot. Will this cushion me like a gymnastics mat?

It is more narrow than a typical gymnastics mat, but it is the same thickness and provides the same cushion as the high quality home gymnastics mats my daughter used to use at home when she was a competitive gymnast.

Would this work well under an indoor slide for a toddler? We just bought our 1.5 year old an indoor slide (she's a climber!) and we want something under it to protect her from landing on our hardwood floor when she slides off the end.

It is well padded but may not be wide enough to put under a indoor slide. and it would need carpet liner so that i may not move.
