JULY SHEEP Women's Lady Knitted Beret hat Merino Wool Braided hat French Beret for Winter Autumn Solid Color

Was waiting to review until I had worn it in the cold. Knew from receiving that I love the look and the color is great. It's called brown but from the photos I thought it looked like a kind of "silvery" light brown and it is. Kind of changes color with how the light hits it. Very comfortable with just a little slouch/beret look but not the over sized type. Last night I wore it out in the cold. Definitely keeps the top of my head warm and works pretty well on my ears, however I will note my hair is long enough to cover my ears so that makes a difference too. The knit band has a loose enough knit that I could see it not being warm enough with short hair. I am super pleased and love that it works so well with my silver puff jacket that is also a non-standard silver. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the little bow but I really like it. Since it's knit it doesn't look "fluffy" just adds a nice touch.

Beautiful wool knit hat. The hat is a bit thicker than I expected for the price so it is definitely going to keep me warm and not just look good. The weave of the knit looks great. It was a snug fit but as expected the wool loosened up without loosing shape over the day for a perfect fit. Soft wool that doesn't itch. I am so pleased I ordered another in a different color.

It’s a lovely classic winter hat. I needed a versatile hat that would compliment my short curly hair while looking elegant. I ordered the light gray, it is a beautiful heather color with a hint of blue. I am petite and this hat covers my ears and is warm. It could have been a half inch to and inch larger but fortunately it’s elasticity is forgiving. I have plenty of hair and it covers my curls in the back from wet weather.

This "JULY SHEEP Women's Lady Knitted Beret Hat Merino Wool Braided Hat French Beret For Winter Autumn Solid Color" is a tad on the small side for me, compared to some other tams I ordered. I really like the material (although there's no indication on the hat or the packaging what the contents of the yarn are), the color (dark grey), and the pattern. The fabric and weave are warmer than all of the acrylic hats I ordered. The color is true to the photo, and a nice neutral to go with many things in my wardrobe. 4 out of 5 stars because the hat has no tags indicating material content, washing instructions, or where it was made. Still would recommend.

But very nice beret at an affordable price. Glad I ordered it! (I actually ordered two!)Would have liked a bit larger hat, all in all.Still , I am happy. Thank you!

This is a beautiful quality hat...but unfortunately the fit doesn't work for me at all. It keeps sliding way down over my eyebrows, almost into my eyes. I think that because the material is so nice & thick, but the band around the head has too much give to it so it doesn't stay tightly in place, it is impossible to prevent it from sliding way down on my forehead (unless I keep it up really high above my hairline & have it tucked behind my ears, which kind of defeats the purpose). Unfortunately, even though this is a very nicely made hat, it looks as if I will be returning it.

Took a chance and bought this hat, but... I agree with all the other reviews. Much, much too small. Good for a child, but there's no way this hat on an adult head would look like it does in the picture. Which is a bummer because the hat is very well made and soft.

Like the hat very much. Warm, good quality and workmanship. Knit is tight which is one of the reasons it is warm and will keep my head dry in short distances of light precipitation. My head is bigger than average and I have thick hair, so the fit is a little snugger than I had hoped for; but wearable. Also, my face is round and I hoping for a little more fullness that I could wear to the side (beret style) to give a more asymmetrical look to my round face; but overall the style of it works pretty well.
