This is THE BEST intonating tool for Floyd Rose trems EVER!!
What a find!!! I have 5 ESP 7-stringers and an Ibanez 7-stringer. The ESPs have genuine Floyd Rose trems and the Ibanez has a licensed Floyd Rose Lo-Trem GOTOH-style trem.Properly setting intonation on FR trems is a bigger headache than setting up the trem itself. I use a Tremel-no device on 3 of them to lock the trem in place. All that said, this Red Bishop is beyond amazing. It is extremely well crafted, well thought out, and light years better than any of the other FR intonation devices out there. Super smooth, super accurate, and cuts the time for setting perfect intonation to a few minutes. The ONLY thing I find slightly troublesome is for the low B on my 7s, there is very little space for the angled tip to grab ontobehind the string as the B string is very thick and leaves almost no space for the tool to grab. It DOES work, but be very careful on the low B so it doesn't slip off when putting tension on it. I included a picture so you can see the tight space on the low B.I don't think there's anything that could be done by the folks who make this fantastic tool to redesign it so it would work better.10/10 on this, worth every penny!

Great Quality and Super Easy to Use
I have never even attempted to intonate a floating trem before, I had heard this tool would make it easier so figured I would give it a shot. 5 minute youtube video and 30 minutes of work later, guitar is perfectly intonated, cannot recommend this tool enough it was so easy to use and even came with a mini instruction pamphlet so you probably dont even need a youtube video

Whats not to like?
It works and it works well. Solidly built. If I had to find something to ding it, I'd say it's the smaller thumb screw. It's location underneath the larger ones is a bit annoying. That being said, it's not like I have to crank down on it. I might get one that's longer so the screw head sticks out past the thumbwheel.Overall, one of the better products on the market. Way better than the one from SkyScraper. So, if your considering the "pick pocket" just save your cash and get the Red Bishop one.

Superior intonation tool for FR and FR licensed trems!
Just plain works and works very well. I used to cringe when it came to adjusting intonation on an FR trem. When I had my Ibanez RG470 I bought the intonation kit (three different stamped steel intonation tools) and those were garbage. Tried to use one that fit my Jackson Dinky and the tool broke. Thank God because I found this new one from Red Bishop! It is so well made and easy to use it should be called the "Pope" Accu-locator. FYI I uploaded a scan of the instructions so folks can see how to use it. The instructions show the tool on a FR original, Ibanez EDGE, GOTOH 1996T and an Ibanez Lo-Pro Edge.

UPDATE: It's, NOT, Perfect - but...
At first, fitting (Floyd Rose Original), there was a lot of play at the contact points, between, the unit, and the bridge parts, until I tightened the 'leg' up, against the fine-tuner tension-plate.However, the 'claw' ('foot'), needs to be longer, and, more, steeply, angled, and the 'leg', needs to be lowered by about 2mm, to decrease the angle that the device sits at (it cannot be gotten exactly, parallel, as, you are instructed to try and achieve).I found the threaded rod ('travel'), to be too, long, as, it was hitting my hex-wrench driver shaft, during pitch adjustment, therefore, I had to cut off about 5mm of its length. Also, I had to shave down the bottom surface of the leg where it contacts, both, the baseplate, and the back of the fine-tuner screw, in order to get the device to sit more parallel so that, it stopped jumping, up, and out of the saddle, under tension. Also, I think the 'leg' should be a little wider, for better 'seating'. The instructions are minimal - but are, approaching, proper English. With a little imagination, and, some trial and error, you should get over them quickly enough...Be very, careful, about adhering to the instruction to 'turn the saddle, lock, screw, on your baseplate, *half*-a-turn -- otherwise, the rear of the saddle, you're adjusting, will raise, and, at the same time, raise, the pitch of the note you're working with. The product is more accurate than "The Key", and does, fit, snugly, enough, to get the job done. I found, that, fine-tuning, using the blue, knurled, adjustment knob, is quite, accurate, in pitch adjustment. The unit has more, mass, than 'The Key' and, is, therefore, susceptible to *falling* out, if you're intonating in the playing position. As you can see from my photos, I've made some modifications on the device. I've rubberized the 'leg', and the set-screw (a replacement of the original, shorter, one), using, 'Plasti-Dip', rubberizer, for better contact of the pivoting, 'leg', with the 'block'-part, and a more, positive, tactile feedback from the instrument. I also shaved the back of the 'foot', to increase the angle of attack, for better contact with the saddle opening, just behind the saddle, insert-block.I found that, by, 'snugging, up', on the knurled knob, and then, finger-tightening, the set-screw, against, the rear portion of the pivoting 'leg' - in that order - will provide the best stability to the unit, and decrease the chances of the units', dropping, to the floor, mid-way through the process.Overview: of the two units that I've used (The Key, and, the Red Bishop), the Red Bishop, is the best-performing, of the two, overall. It is highly-machined, and, intuitively responsive.UPDATE: I have since fastened to small screw heads to the tops of the foot on each side (using super glue and baking soda), causing it to grab more snugly up against the bottom of the fine tuner screw cap, ensuring much more stability.

Pricey, but worth it
A snap to use. If you have a FR, I doubt you'll find better or easier. If you've got more than one, it's a far cheaper option than Hollow Points. Plus it works on Gotohs or floating trems with angled fine tuners.

Finally!!! An Intonation tool that moves the Saddle, without damage to the Bridge’s finish!
It actually looks, and feels like a more stable/sound tool. I must admit, I was a little concerned after I ordered it. It was more than I planned on paying for an intonation tool, but I liked the tool’s looks. I was impressed with its feel. It functioned well when I got it. I put it to work right away, as I had a guitar on the bench that was all ready for it (I work for local players and a music store. I see a lot of guitars). It functions very smooth. The only advice I can give is that when you first receive it, that you look it over closely and make sure to knock off all the corners’ sharp edges, in order to put a larger radius on these corners, before using it.
