LifeProof FRĒ SERIES Waterproof Case for Samsung Galaxy S6 - Retail Packaging - CUTBACK CORAL (CORAL/CANDY PINK)

I purchased this case despite all of the negative reviews because I knew LifeProof was still a quality brand. This is my first LifeProof case so it's not a biased opinion. I've only had it a few days but so far I HAVEN'T HAD ONE ISSUE with it. I'll address the common issues... 1. Most people claim how the volume from the bottom media speaker if muffled, which it is a bit, but that's expected as it's a fully encased phone and that's the sacrifice made with a case like this. 2. Another common major issue was that the rubber headphone jack and charge port covers broke off. I'd say they could be stronger, but unless folks are super hard on their phone, I don't see mine coming off anytime soon. It's not indestructible, it is just a studier plastic phone case. 3. That you can hardly hear anything during a call. Hearing during a call is surprisingly hardly muffled at all. It's a slightly different type/thickness of plastic or something where the speaker is. No issue there unless you're deaf. 4. That the sensitivity is bad. I'm not sure if some had put the case on incorrectly or something but the first time I checked this case out before I bought one, I didn't even know there was a screen protector on it. The sensitivity with this case is not an issue at all. 5. Some had claimed that the case was too tight and was pressing on the power and volume buttons. I simply just haven't had this issue. Maybe if a case or phone isn't perfect from the factory or something. It is a nice snug fit, but the case and buttons work fine for me. So this case get's 5 stars from me. It does what it's supposed to do. The ONLY thing is don't like is how the speaker volume for music is a bit muffled, but I understand that it's an enclosed case and that's expected. I'd recommend this case.

Product arrived several days before expected (always a plus!) and thus far has held up spectacularly. I do a lot of outdoor photography, backpacking, camping, fishing and other outdoor activities and so I really needed a case that could handle my lifestyle. So far this thing has seen several drops, rain, snow, a drop in a puddle, mud, dust, and just about any other condition you can imagine. My phone has remained bone dry inside this case and none of the drops have affected it. Despite the abuse, the case itself shows no signs of wear and tear and with a simple rinse or wipe-down looks brand new again. In the past I've used Magpul and UAG cases for my phones which have been wonderful when it comes to being shockproof, but none of the others offer the waterproof protection of the LifeProof (unless you want to blow too much money on a bulky OtterBox.) After a month or two with this case I have no reservations saying that I will continue to purchase LifeProof products for my electronics. There is one VERY minor con to this case that I've found. When using the headphone port, I've had the rubber plug/stopper piece come out of the case several times. It's a very easy fix (you just have to pop the bottom of the case open and slip the rubber piece into the plastic mold) but it is a bit annoying. Not enough to detract a star, but something to be aware of and look out for when using the port. Overall, this is a terrific product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to protect their phone.

This case really works! It is water proff and the water proffing does actually work. The main thing i was worried about was if it would make the sound quality worst but it doesnt. I havent had any issues with people hearing me during calls. Things to add: a few days after using the case i dropped my phone and the screen cracked with the case on. It was a hard drop but i was hoping to avoid that with this case. Still a great case just a little bit of a bummer on my end. Also the cover for the aux port fell off after 2 days of use but i also use the aux port several times a day. Overall im still very happy with the case.

I bought this case a month ago and it is working great! I bought this case because I am a very clumsy person. I am always dropping my phone or spilling water near my phone. This case is great for people like me because it completely seals your phone in and has a protective shell to create a cushion for when you drop the phone. I was concerned with the durability of the case and the usability of the case. To test the durability I dipped my phone in a cup of water. Then I removed the phone from the case and there wasn’t a drip of water anywhere on my phone. Also, I have dropped my phone several times from 4+ feet off of the ground without any effect to my phone. I am very pleased that so far the durability meets the standards that they have set for this product. I wasn’t sure if with all of the protection features the case would be very practical to use. The buttons are easy to push through the case and the headphone jack is easily accessible. After using the phone first hand my usability concerns were put to rest. There are only a few minor downfalls to this case. My first downfall would be that they only come in solid colors. I feel as though a patterned case would be more fun to have. The last downfall I would say would be the price. It is a high price for a phone case, but if you are clumsy like me it is well worth it. Overall, I think this case is amazing. It is well worth every penny I spent because I was getting sick of reading my phone through a cracked screen or putting it in rice to hopefully soak most of the water it. The lifeproof case is the most durable case I have ever used and even though it has a lot of protection to it still very usable. If you are in the market for something to help save your phone from yourself so to speak, this would be one of the best purchases out there. I hope you found this review helpful.

Great case, hate the colour... But black is never available. This lasted for years with no issues. Phone use was not hampered. It wore down on the corners, as I kept my phone in it permanently, but always functioned as designed. I now have the S9+. Got the same version lifeproof. IT SUCKS. Waste of money. Scratched more easily, and the buttons started to break within 5 months. Total garbage.

Definitively waterproof. dropped it in a pool a couple of times and no water infiltration whatsoever. I have had this case for approximately 1 1/2 years now and the only problem with it is the top clip of the USB door which broke from opening. Since then I try to avoid submerging the phone even though the doors snaps close with the help of two smaller latches on its sides. I usually Plug it in once per day through a wall charger. I guess the problem can be avoided using wireless charging stations which I have been able to use with this case if it is correctly positioned in its center. Other than that it survived multiple 1m high falls from my clumsiness and nothing but a few scratches on the plastic and rubber show. Another little hiccup is the low sound coming out of the speakers. It is to be expected given the waterproofing but something to keep in mind nonetheless. trying to call in a noisy environment is wasted efforts. It's a little on the pricey range if bought full price but I still would recommend it!
