Klaus: The Art of the Movie

This is a fantastic book and just what I wanted. Loots of character design shown as well as a good look at the house and town design.

Beautiful insight into a beautiful film.. Great coffee table book it's goregous

Arrived fast and in great condition

When I first saw images of the front cover, I thought it looked a bit boring, but now that I have the book, I really like the cover. The dimensions of the book, the soft to the touch material, the gold embossed titel and gold stribes on the spine (it even has a gold quote from the movie on the back), the at the same time simple and elegant yet finely detailed look of the book. The details are printed directly onto the book (so you don't just get a plain coloured book with a dust jacket on top). Inside it's full of beautiful pages with beautiful colours and interesting character and environment designs. There is also some interesting info on the techniques used in making the movie.Now, as for the shipping (which has nothing to do with the book itself), it would be nice, if the postal services would stop smacking around our books. It is ironic that we essentially pay them money to bang up our purchases. And to all the sellers: Please pack the books with proper protection. Too many books show up dented and damaged.

Brilliant for any fan of the movie, captures the artwork, the backgrounds and the characters. Highly recommended.
