Replacement Plug that is easy to install and is easier to use than the original plug.
I had a surge in my camper and it melted the power plug so I replaced the bad plug with this plug. I wish I had replaced it sooner. This plug is outstanding. It was easy to install and is much easier to disconnect as it has a little handle on it to pull it out. My old plug was tiny and you had to grab it close to the receptacle to remove it. Great plug at a great price that is designed to make hook up and disconnect easier. I'v had it for a year now and the plug is durable and still looks brand new.

Replacement that did fit in the cord storage on our Jayco travel trailer. The mini fit!

This will work if….
This will work if you do not want to remove the entire plug from your RV and just replace the plug-in. Be careful though measure your diameter in the plug box. It’s a little tight.

Bought this to replace the factory one on our camper.
We had a storm and our shore power pole had a surge. Our surge protector protected the camper, but the pronged of our cord didn’t make it. I pulled up a YouTube video of a man replacing his with this product and realized how easy it was so I did it myself. I am a 56-year-old woman who is pretty handy and so I felt confident taking on this project. I got it done completely in about 15 minutes. I have small hands and needed a couple of extras (my husband’s) to hold the length of cord up for me so that it wasn’t pulling everything out of my hands with its weight. It’s easiest, changing out a light fixture! So glad I chose this product and did it myself!

IT FITS THROUGH THE 3" HOLE - HAS ANOTHER BENFIT
It does indeed fit through the 3" access hole for RVs. It's small and still has a handle. Yea me.On each post there is a plate that gets screwed down onto the wire making the connection. This "Camco Power Grip Camper/RV Mini Replacement Plug B007HFT034" has a bend in the plates that when screwed down, fit's the wire, a rounded indent if you will.My cord wires are stranded and when the clip is screwed down all the way, the wire is very tight, you can't pull it out.

Great fit!
If you have a camper with a round, 3-in, recess compartment for your 30-amp plug, this is the right choice. Most 30-amp replacement male ends are 3.5 in from prong tips to loop on back. These simply do not work unless you want your plug end dangling when you travel. Worth the extra $.

It fits the camper pocket for the plug
Easy connection for the wires. The clamps grip really well. Once assembled, the plug fits right into the storage pocket on the camper. The other replacement plugs were too large.
