Great For Ruger Mark IV
This works flawlessly with my Ruger Mark IV magazines. Such a simple device and works so well! Loading my magazines is a lot easier now.

Strong, accurate sizing, good fit, some "good" flex if needed, a simple but efficient loader.
Do you need it? No. Does it help? YES! Many shooters think any such magazine loaders are for whimps but why chew up your thumbs when something simple like this is available? Just nonsense. Now that 22 cal rounds are STARTING to come back to fair prices, I can shoot 500 rounds without guilt and smack through 1,000 to 1,500 easily if things are running well.Easily, these tools pay for themselves in 2-3 range trips just in time savings. Range time is being watched carefully now with nearly DOUBLE the number of gun owners vs 10 years ago. Until recently, a nice range would let an "hour" run 2 hours without anyone bothering you but business is business and the ranges are keeping an eye on this. I cannot argue their position to make a few more bucks. So, why waste 30% of your time loading when it can be cut way down with such a loader?I have the Maglula units as well for volume loading but I often use these simple units when I just want to add a quick 5 or 10 rounds to clean off a target. For my volume loads prepping I setup a loading "line" and use my Uplula's packing 5-10 mags quickly. I usually use these simple loaders to top off a mag or for quick reloads noted above. It's apparent these Makershot units are made via 3D printing vs. injection molded but the material strength is very good and I expect them to last a long time. There is a little flex but that is good to allow for tight mags so no complaints. The thumb button notch is solid and I expect will last a long time for my use. Really a no-brainer for the money.

A snap to use. - don't let it get hot!
It's easy to use and hardly takes up any space.Doesn't cost much either. What else do you need?(used on SW Victory mags)----------- update ----------At the range today. While shooting I left my accessories in the car. this loader was on the dashboard. 90f outside. After a 15-20 minutes I started reloading and was confused when the loader would not fit over the magazine. Turns out it warped a little bit under the sun's heat. This is not a deal breaker if you're considering purchasing this. It's easy to just leave it in your pocket - but I have to deduct a star from my rating because of this.Hopefully I can fix it with a hair dryer or something...If not, I'll get a replacement for this loader... but made out of metal!-------- update -------the hairdryer and poking the slightly softened plastic worked. Putting the star back.

Careful with Mrk III
Works great on SR 22. mrk III make sure the point part on inside is on the button side, else it'll slip over the button and you'll fight like hell to get it back off the magazine. Saves the thumb when you need to load more than 5 or 6 magazines.

If you have a Ruger .22 autoloading pistol, you need this!
I have a Ruger Mark II. If you have any of this series (now to IV, I think), you know how sore your finger can get pulling down the little knob on the side of the magazine to load 10 rounds of .22 into it. Man, by the time you get to around #7 it's starting to hurt! With this little fella, goodbye sore fingers. Less (no) pain and much faster. Everyone at the range is amazed by it. My only beef is the cost. Sure, I get profit, but this thing is probably 1 cent worth of materials (it's just a small piece of plastic), so I dinged it on "value for money." But in terms of value and utility at the range, it's great.

Just... DON'T!
This product was horrible. It didn't fit any of my magazines. I missed the return window, otherwise I would have sent it back.Gave it to my son to play with.

Finally - a loader that actually fits the .22 compact magazines and works!
I originally ordered another brand that was the only thing I could find at the time, and it was a 2 part "kit". The push down part of the kit sort of worked but not well because it was not molded to fit the magazines and it stuck both going down and pulling back up after the magazine was loaded..I just ordered a set of two of these MakerShot orange push down loader helpers. THEY WORK! The cost was a fraction of the original kit thing that I ordered, and these are molded to actually fit the M&P .22 compact magazines and make pushing down the side button of the magazine to insert the rounds very easy indeed!A few dollars for something that works this well is a bargain, even though they probably cost less than 50 cents to make.

No go got Beretta 71...
Great idea but doesn't work on my Berreta 71 single stack mags. $13 to buy and now an additional $10 out of pocket to send it back. No sign of a refund as yet. My other Shotmaker for KelTek CMR 30, works fine. Amazon Prime with free returns used to be pretty worth-while but I'm not feeling it any more; especially in this case... Well, as long as King Bezos keeps making billions... that's the important thing.
