Texas Pete Sriracha Cha! Hot Chile Sauce, 18 oz

This sauce has so much depth and flavor it's unbelievable. Regular sriracha is just hot... this has depth of flavor and balanced heat that doesn't rip your tongue off and gives you all the flavor you could ever want with some extra garlic and the aroma of the original sauce, like it smells. The only thing I know of that's close to this is another sriracha sauce from the Asian markets, and everybody calls it 'shark sauce' it's a little sweeter, but packs a punch.Try a bottle, if you don't like it, send it to me!!

Texas Pete has taken a great classic hot sauce and made it their own. Not too hot or spicy. Just the right amount of heat and a slight touch of sweetness to make even more versatile! One taste and I ordered 2 more bottles. YereeHaaaw! That’s good!

First, there were no problems at all in ordering so that’s a definite check.Next, the sauce is not bad at all! I’m a huge fan of hot sauces in general (of all heat levels) and this one is pretty high up there for me. I’m willing to say it’s a good substitute for Huy Fong in MOST recipes, and may even be better for some direct use items like sandwiches. It is slightly less dense, not as hot and slightly sweeter than the original, but still much closer than many others.Overall, none of the copy cats are dead on yet, but Texas Pete probably is the closest overall without having any particular veritable way off.I will probably continue to use this every once in a while, even once Huy Fong comes back, and that is the highest praise I can give any sauce of this type!

So I am not a diehard Sriracha fan like a lot of reviewers, however I do love my hots sauces. It's been a while since I've had the real Sriracha, but I don't remember it tasting much like this. It's similar but this Texas Pete's seem to have considerable more heat then I remember in Sriracha. That said it's not so hot it drowns out the flavor if the food, and it does still have a garlic sweetness to it. I am giving it 5 stars because taste is subjective and in my opinion it tastes great. If you are looking for a replacement for the currently difficult to find Sriracha sauce you may or may not be satisfied. If you are looking for a new spicy garlic sauce and don't go into it with the intention of comparison, I think you will enjoy.

huy fong is always so hard to find right now and i need it daily. i had very little left and haven't been able to find it so i ordered this and did a blind taste test. It was very obviously different, but not necessarily in a bad way. it is not nearly as spicy as the huy fong sriracha, but it doesn't taste like vinegar the way some knock off store brand srirachas do. also still spicier than the store brand srirachas. so if you love huy fong, you will like this sauce but it is not as good in my opinion. i was hoping i would like this one more so i can just buy it online, really wanted to love this sauce but unfortunately nothing is as good as the huy fong sauce.would i buy it again? if i can't find huy fong sauce yes of course. if i find a supply of huy fong, then my business would go straight back to huy fong of course.

As most probably know the hung foy brand has become scarce or people think it’s worth its weight in gold when pricing. I’ve literally tried a dozen sriracha’s trying to find an alternative and when I stumbled on this I figured I’d give it a try. Let me say I’m no longer looking for the hong dot brand I’m happy with this! It doesn’t taste anything like the hung foy which was my goal in the beginning but this stuff is amazing! Thanks for the great product! Look forward to many years as a customer. I still have a half bottle but think I’m gonna go ahead and order the 3 pack and toss a couple in the cabinet for backup lol thanks again and God Bless!! I absolutely LOVE THIS SIRACHA!!! It definitely tastes like a Texas inspired sriracha! Is it as good as the one everyone is going nuts to find? Maybe in a Texans world lol! It’s different from the all time classic (that I’ve named “rooster sauce “ lol).. but this one is goooood! Proper amount of heat, a little smokiness (of course it’s Texas!), oddly though not as sweet as the OG everyone counts on. I gave it a 5 star because it’s good on its own without comparison. I bought 3 or 4 other brands looking for one closest, once I tried this one I didn’t care to compare anything else, this one is almost an elevated version! As the saying goes.. everything is bigger in Texas. Definitely big flavor here!
