Great for a tall gamer!
I was initially skeptical of this chair as I am a 6'5", 250 lb. man. I did a significant amount of research on chairs that are good for someone who spends a lot of time in front of computer for gaming and school and of my size. Unfortunately there are very few options that are good quality, adjustable and under $400 (first time really shopping for chairs so I was shocked at how high the prices go). So when I dropped the money on it I was very scarred at first. When it came in I set it up, which was not too difficult but is made easier with another person. Then i cautiously sat down and tried it out, messing with every single lever and button. I was amazed at how many ways I could alter my sitting experience. It actually goes up high enough for my height (almost no chairs actually do) and cant recline to almost become a bed. I have only been using it for a month now, but it has already helped with my back pain in chairs (the adjustable lumbar pillow is fantastic and can be easily moved around to where you need it most). I am also able to actually put my head on the top of the headrest, something I can't even do in an airplane! My only complain that I have is that the guard that seems to be meant to hide the screws that attache the back to the seat does not stay on very well. However I did not feel this really lowers my opinion of the chair as it does not affect anything. At the end of the day if you are on the tall side, around or below 250 lbs and not wanting to spend $1000 for a chair then I can easily recommend this chair, and will happily do so to my friends. Update: I have now had this chair for a year and a half (almost to the day)! I still stand by my review as I am still comfortably sitting in this chair despite being well above the recommended height for this model. Absolutely makes the different.

Exceeded my expectations!
Wow, new car smell in an office chair? Seriously, this chair is comfortable, so much so that I wanted to write this review today, the same day I got it and put it together. If my opinion changes after using it for awhile, I'll update accordingly, but right now it's awesome! Putting it together was easy, and the whole thing feels heavy and sturdy, yet it rolls around on my carpet surprisingly well. I would imagine on a hard surface it would feel like skating on ice. The lumbar pillow is just the right size for me, but I had to use "method one" in the instructions for the neck pillow. I'm 6'-4 250lbs, and I'm expecting the gas cylinder to not tolerate my weight all day based on what I've read, but for the last hour it's doing fine. The reclining feature was unexpected for me, not sure how I missed it, but you can lay nearly horizontal and not feel like you're going to tip over. The arm rests not only adjust up and down, but they slide in and out, getting my arms and hands closer to the desk, which for my situation makes it easier to type and navigate my work for long continuous periods. So far, 5 stars, no question. Update 6/1/16 - Just wanted to say that after 4 1/2 months of almost daily use, this chair still rocks ... pun intended ;) One thing I should mention is that new car smell - it took the better part of two months to dissipate, and in the first couple weeks it became downright annoying, to the point that I turned the ceiling fan on just so I wouldn't have to smell it. Not enough to keep me from buying this chair again, but definitely worth noting. Update 1/23/2019: Still very happy with this chair, but today I noticed the gas shock is sinking slowly over the course of the day. Took 2 1/2 years, but it's finally wearing out. I have since bought another DX Racer chair for my 2nd office, so neither chair gets 40 hour weeks, but you really can't beat the comfort of these things, even if I have to stand up 4 or 5 times a day to raise this one back up. As for the new car smell, the second one I bought wasn't nearly as bad as the first, only lasted a couple days and from the beginning wasn't as strong either.

Hard to assemble, but a good chair
Well, I thought I would write my review while I had just completed assembly of the DXRacer Series DOH/ROO1/NB Newedge. I had read that it only took 20 minutes to assemble, but it took me two and a half hours and it was a bitch doing it myself. You really should have two people doing this job. It takes two people to just pick the box up that the chair is shipped in. The instructions were poor and hard to read, which did not help the process. The chair is very well made with steel construction underneath. The various controls such as set adjustment etc.. all work well. The chair because of its construction is heavy but comfortable to sit in. The lumbar support and headrest are cheap, to say the least. I will look for better lumbar support and head rest elsewhere. The chair is sexy and looks like a great command chair, from which to journey the universe. I did have to contact the DXR folks for assistance, and they were very friendly and helpful. They sent me a video to show me how to do one step in the assembly process. I am happy with the chair, not how long it took to assemble and the head and back lumbar support. The chair really is a nice chari.

I purchased this for home use, and I think I may need to buy a similar one for work. The chair is very comfortable and helps to encourage good posture. It rolls around smoothly and silently on the large casters. I'm also happy with the metal base because I've had other chairs break at the rollers. I used the DX sizing guide to select this chair. I'm 180 cm tall and 85 kg. This is a great fit for me.
