Main Street Guitars MAAF Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar in American Flag Finish

I have played guitar for 30 years and own several different very very expensive guitars. I bought this instrument for a Halloween costume and really wasn't expecting much. It exceeded my low expectations.The actual finish (the paint) seems to be very good. It came already strung with the strings relaxed, and it tuned up quickly. After playing it for a little bit to stretch the strings, it tuned up using a tuner, and it held its tune pretty good. The action is kinda high, so it plays just OK but it could be adjusted for a few bucks more at your local luthier or it could be used for slide guitar. The sound, as a function of the soundbox, construction, and wood is kinda "meh", but still, it plays!It's a 90 dollar guitar.... delivered by Amazon Prime! I'm not going to tell you it plays and sounds like my Martin 'cause it doesn't. It plays and sounds well enough that i gave it four stars based solely on the perceived value. If you can afford something better, get it. I recently bought my daughter a very nice Yamaha with a case for a few hundred dollars. By comparison it sounds beautiful, has a built in tuner, a super nice good fitting case, and Yamaha has respectable craftsmanship that will last for years to come.Only time will tell if this guitar will stay together and remain playable. We'll hang it on the wall with the others and let people play it when they come to visit. Keeping them off my good stuff is worth the 90 bucks in my opinion;)

A very nice acoustic guitar for the price ..... great sound, and tunes easily ..... very Patriotic, which I will use for my musical programs on those occasions (such as Independence Day and Veterans Day) ...... It is Full size with excellent tuners, neck, action and Body. Would recommend for anyone!
