Works great for me
Be sure to pair with a GRX front derailleur. The rear derailleur and levers can be 105's. That is what I am successfully running now.

Not directly compatible with Ultegra/105 etc front deraillers
Note: this crankset sits 2.5mm further out from the bottom bracket than do theroad standard Ultegra/105/Tiagra cranks do, so your FD may not be able to reach the largering on the GRX crank; in addition if you have a molded in FD mount it may notgo low enough for the 46T sized GRX. There are adapters to lower the FD inthis instance and you may have to fabricate 2.5mm thick 1/2 diameter spacers forthe chain rings to move them inboard enough for the road FD to work.

Easy replacement
Great product and absolutely what I needed to make my cross bike the gravel bike it wanted to be.

Works Well But Expensive
I own a steel-frame trail bicycle which came with heavy wheels and slightly tough crankset at 172.5 mm. Among upgrades, I purchased this 170 mm GRX. Much more comfortable to peddle, bringing gear inch down from 28 to 24, and relieving my left knee pain.Problem: after purchase (not cheap), purchaser is told a special GRX derailleur is most probably necessary--an additional one hundred dollars with installation. Nearly three hundred dollars for a trail bike crankset and front derailleur. I am 77 years old, so it is a necessary investment for comfort and hill climbing; your calculations may differ.

Nice low gearing option
Nice crank for those looking to gear down from a compact 50/34t. Would consider this equal to Shimano 105 in terms of quality and price point

Quality you expect from Shimano
I ordered the GRX-600 crank over the GRX-800 series crank mostly because of the issues with the design of the crank. These dont have the glued on hollowtech II technology and not susceptible to breaking. A bit heavier and more in line with the Shimano 105 series vs Ultegra. So it is a bit heavier that the 800 series but I think more robust and a bit cheaper in cost. So far its been great.

Can't beat Shimano
Once again another quality produce from Shimano. Buy it once and forget it. A+
