Sketch Book: Notebook for Drawing, Writing, Painting, Sketching or Doodling, 110 Pages, 8.5x11 (Premium Abstract Cover vol.30)

I am trying to encourage my son to try doing some sketching as an outlet other than his i-phone. He had painted a couple of pictures but felt that was all he could do. This is not an expensive book as I wanted to make sure he would use one before I put a lot of money into it. The book is pretty and the pages nice for doodling on.

What can I say, it is a drawing tablet! It is bigger than I thought it would be, which is great, because I bought it for my 7 year old granddaughter and she loves to draw and paint big pictures! The weight of the pages is heavier than copy paper, but not super thick. She will be very happy!

I have my own sketchbook and gave this to my five year old son to use as his sketchbook. It’s nice! Took away one star because I don’t like that they used an entire page for the name and copyright of the sketchbook, that should have been on the outside of the back cover. A line for writing the name of the artist would have been better — or, simply a blank page. I included a photo of the cover, the first page, and then a typical sketch page, so you can see the border that they put in every page (and you can see that the words on the front of a page show through to the back of the page — which is expected for a sketchbook in this price range and I didn’t take any stars off for that.) The binding is good and the cover is as expected. I just don’t like the writing and bar code on the first and last pages (bar code on the last page isn’t as big of a deal though).

These sketchbooks look cool! My "tween" granddaughters are going to love them!

I ordered this sketch book, and inside there is a box on each page, approx 1 inch from each edge of each paper. Quality is good, but if you're looking for a artist sketch book, DO NOT GET! You probably won't love it!

Paper could be slightly thicker but good for kids

Delivered next day, paper looks good but a little thinner than expected. It's for my step sister to sketch anime. Should be sufficient.
