Like having a second set of hands
Light, sturdy, and easy to use. Great product for the price. I use it on a regular basis. Fully adjustable and will fit darn near anything you put in it. Convenient storage dishes in base to hold onto parts/fasteners when performing maintenance. Would recommend.

Don' throw away any old "C" clamps.
this works very well, but you will need two extra "C" clamps to hold it down when sighting in a scope rifle. I use a picnictable outside when doing this job. I shoot three separate targets once, then adjust scope to where the bullet hit. Thissaves a lot of ammunition. Once the setup is done, all I do is pull the trigger. Target is 100 yards.

very lite weight, a little on the flimsy side
I know what I was looking for something to be able to hold a rifle to work on and mount scopes. This product does just that it is very lite which effects the sturdiness of it but seeing as its mounting it holds just fine. works as intended for the price its a good purchase. One other thing is the pads that hold make a popping noise when tightening down could be the plastic moving a little bit as it locks in. Also it has plenty of compartments to hold tools, screws and other things while working on your project.

It does have small feet to level
This is not for shooting with,Use for scope mounting and cleaning rifle- works nicely. It does have 4 small adjustable feet (many said it didn't) if needed when doing scope level. No need to snug the clamps crazy tight, a little tension will hold fine and allows for little left /right level adjustments. Nice helping hands when working on firearm. scouting out the price not very expensive.

OK for the price.
Does what it is supposed to do, but is flimsy. The vise barely holding the rifle, and tightening the knob results in thread skipping.

Easy to use
I am a DIY scope installer and like working on my own firearms. I really like this gun vise. It's easy to use and holds the gun in place while being worked on.

Just plain substandard, awful really
I bought this because the Hoppes solvent and oil I use are well known as quality products, so I thought this would be similar in quality, that Hoppes wouldn't put their name on a substandard product. Wrong. This might have been a great item if the manufacturer had just done one thing: use a stronger fastening system on the adjustable pads that clamp the rifle. On first use, the pad screws wanted to rotate completely out of the pads because the 'e' clips attaching them were weak and deformed under clamping pressure. A threaded brass female insert pressed into the clamping pads would have completely solved this issue; instead, the pads screw into the plastic pads - nothing to support them as clamps are tightened, so they cant sideways. One of the e-rings popped out and had to be reinstalled. Despite trying to work around the limitations of the weak clamping mechanisms, I couldn't get this to adequately 'clamp' my AR15 in any way that would promote being able to clean the firearm or mount a scope. Maybe with a lighter or fixed stock bolt action rifle, this would be fine, but it didn't meet my needs at all and was returned. Shame on Jerry Miculek for promoting this.
