Yves Saint Laurent Baby Doll Kiss and Blush, No. 25 Mauve Aventureux, 0.33 Ounce

I had a blusher this colour decades ago, from Guerlain, and always liked it. Guerlain no longer make that blusher, unsurprisingly (I did get their Petite Robe Noire lip and cheek colour, which I can wear during the day though not at night—see my review; it's has several shared characteristics). I am a pale-skinned, brown-haired Anglo, but with a warm complexion, and this colour ought to be wrong for me. Then I saw this, decided to try it, and I like it very much: expensive, but worth it—applied carefully, in small doses, it looks good, especially at night. I can wear it as a lip colour too, again applied carefully and sparingly; a stronger dose of this colour would look terrific, I would say, against darker skin with a cool undertone. What I really like is the appicator: a sort of tiny sponge (attached to the cap) that gives you a tiny bit at a time, making it easier to build up the depth of colour you want. It's a bit sticky, but you'd expect that. It has a nice smell but I have had no break-outs or dermatitis, and my skin is extremely sensitive. Four stars for the cost.

I am loving the YSL Kiss & Blush. It is so easy to apply, looks fantastic and isn't drying or irritating. I've even been using a little bit on my eyelids, so it is really a three in one.
