Reliable Product
I’ve been using the 600lb capacity version of this rack for a year and an half now and it’s been amazing. I’ve taken my Yamaha Mt03 on a 2000 mile road trip with zero issues. I’ve also taken my Yamaha Mt07 which is heavier on another 2000 mile trip without issue. The majority of my trips were highway miles. I made sure to take it easy on bumpy roads. After a little practice it’s easy to load the bike on and off of the ramp by yourself. Overall I give this product a 5/5. If you’re looking to carry your bike around I recommend this product.

Received a used item from RacingPowerSports
Edited:Mototote contacted me immediately about my issue and offered to replace item (item was on backorder for several weeks) or a refund of $120. I accepted the refund since I needed to pick up my new bike that week. So far the carrier functions as advertised. I'm not happy about the quality control and receiving a product with parts that were not new but I am happy with the prompt reply and solutions offered by Mototote. I will change my rating from one to four stars.--End of edit. Not sure about the sturdiness yet but I am very disappointed in the quality of product I received from RacingPowerSports. I paid for a new MotoTote MTX Sport Motorcycle Carrier and received one that was clearly used/returned as it is scratched and chipped in numerous places. I could have paid less ordering directly from MotoTote.com. lesson learned..Edit #2 on 1/28/24:Changing to 4 stars. Great moto carrier. Durable. Yamaha TW200 fits beautifully on this carrier.

Worth the price for its quality
Mototote MXT Sport hitch carrier got shipped very fast to Dubai, the product is sturdy and quality. The pin to hold down the loading ramp didn't fit as shown in the official video on YouTube, so I had to squeeze it in to avoid flying on the highway. For FJ cruiser owners, it fits well with the spare rear tyre and can be adjusted, for my scooter I squeezed it closer to the receiver due to its small size, for bigger bikes, just extend the rod away one extra hole. See pictures.Carrier was made in excellent quality. Highly recommended.

Great product
Very sturdy construction and with the longer loading ramp it makes it easier to load a motorcycle. Extremely happy with this motorcycle carrier

Very good motorcycle carrier.
I had problems with the fit on the receiver part of the carrier, but the manufacturer worked with me and sent me one that was a very good fit. I did have to put a shim in for an outstanding fit, but this was no problem. I've carried my motorcycle several times now, and it works great. Easy to put on the truck, easy to load and unload the motorcycle, and it stores great without taking up much space. You can find less expensive carriers, but this was worth the extra few bucks. I'd buy it again.

Shame on you Mototote
Great design but came today and upon inspection rust spots and loose paint with rust underneath made me request a return straight away. If you charge a premium price you should get a premium product. Shame on you mototote for selling me a rusty rack for $550. It’s been sitting in a warehouse for a few years rusting away. I can tell.Gonna try again and see if I can get a better one. Wish me luck

Honest REVEIW. Good strong product, if at all concerning.
1. don't really know anything about hauling or towing.I took one look at my cars towing capacity and thought it'd be fine. This is not a trailer sitting on the ground. This adds to your total weight capacity. My little car with 200k miles on it is barely getting by with it. Recommend having a better truck for this2.Buy good straps with this.I tried out the wally world straps before my trip and they would only hold for a few jostles. The inch off the pavement in the 3rd photo is because I got better straps and they held even after it bumped off. And thankfully didn't fly into incoming traffic.3. My user error ,Don't be stingy with tightening down the front forks. I hit a substantial bump going only 55 and the forks compressed enough for the J hook to unsecure and layed sideways for a few hundred feet. it took a bit of muscle to right it back up into the wheel carriage but it was fine. Maybe a spring hook would've helped.4. Having tightened the bolts before leaving I've found most of them adequate for the application. The retaining bolt with the fancy name is a tiny bit annoying but only because of the clearance on my hardware shown in photos 4 and 5. The washer bent and cupped around making it difficult to tighten on the road with gas station socket sets . Having rounded the edges of the bolt. I imagine myself replacing this with something more practical for my use case and dealing with the jostle noises.Overall it's a great product if you have a good truck. Or if you have smaller bikes. Otherwise if you're closer to my use case with a 400lb bike and a little car. Just get a trailer.

MotoTote Sport - eh it’s okay
The MotoTote sport is an alright product. I bought this to transport my suzuki gsxr600 from Boston Massachusetts to Houston Texas. When I received the product, some parts had rust on them. I didn’t have time to return or exchange since I was moving already. Some of the pieces has rust on it already. The pin to hold down the ramp did not go in properly so I had to rig it to ensure the ramp does not fly off while driving. The stability of the product is good when your road is smooth, however over 1800 miles is not going to be smooth so I have to check the tie downs and bolts to ensure they are tightened. I had to buy extra tie downs to connect to the trucks bed so it will not bounce all over the place (luckily I have a pickup truck, what if others do not?). Maybe mototote can impove by adding some type of stabilizer to the hitch. Other than that, it served it’s purpose.
