Columbia Girls' Discontinued Switchback II Jacket

I got this jacket for my daughter to have on camping trips, so far it’s been great at doing its job. Repels the water as it should, the color came as expected and she says it fits comfortably. It is very thin, but it’s only meant to keep them dry so I’m happy with it.

My daughter really likes this jacket and it fits her well. It’s high quality, comfortable and a cute color. Easy to wear. Lightweight so it’s good for warmer climates. It’s more water “resistant”. If it’s raining hard, it does hold water.

I bought this jacket for my 9 year old daughter for our summer trip to Disney world. It was perfect! Being thin allowed for it to fold up compact and fit in her mini backpack. When it rained every evening, it was quick and easy to get out vs a huge rain poncho. Also if you’ve been to Disney world during rain, they will make you remove your poncho before boarding a ride, but they did not make us remove our jackets. Being lightweight made it not miserable in the Florida humidity. It dried overnight in our room as was ready for the next day. We have since used it for fall/ spring for school or playing outside. Being thin we wear a sweatshirt or sweater underneath for warmth.

It's an ok jacket. Very thin. I wish it had some kind of liner.

This is perfect for rainy or windy days or even those slightly cooler days! The appearance is adorable, it fits great, maybe little more roomy than I thought. But the quality of the material is great. The zipper is easy to handle as well! Definitely worth your money

We live in FL and it rains almost daily for 6 months out of the year. Not hard rain but with a child in a portable at school, she needs something to keep from getting soaked then cold going in the a/c. We purchased one last year and got another this year. They are very thin which is great since it's still very hot even though it rains. I can roll it tightly and it takes up very little room in her backpack. For reference my child is 4'7" and 76lbs, we ordered size L since she normally wears a 10/12. The jacket is a a bit big and the sleeves are long going over her hands. I tend to like it a little roomy so it can be worn over bulky clothes. If you prefer a TTS fit then go one size down.

Wonderful jacket! Have had it for 2 years and is in great shape. Would totally buy again and am since we lost it.

It was hard to determine what size to choose. Each country seems to have their own measurements. I got a small for my 11 yr old daughter who’s a US size 7. And it’s way too small. It’s a gift so I’m not going to stand there and measure her body. Quality is ok, very thin, which she likes cuz she runs hot. For Hawai’i rain it works. I haven’t tested it in the rain yet, so I may update review later.
