C2G 02902 Mac DB15 Male to VGA (HD15) Female Adapter, Beige

Older monitors are difficult to fix, and probably a lot more expensive than just getting this adapter to use with a more modern monitor. Works well with my Quadra 610, as it's the only Mac I have that uses this old DB15 port.

Works excellent connecting a classic Apple Macintosh Performa 6400/180 to a standard VGA LCD monitor.

No configuration, no switches to fiddle with, just plain and simple conversion to VGA specs - both physical connector and logic. Works wonderfully! This is a MUST HAVE for vintage Mac users / retro computing hobbists working with Macs. At least with the 600 series of Performas, Centris, Quadras and LC. I would check to make sure that your Mac has the same video system as the Performa 640/630. These computers were some of the last 68K macs. I don't know if it'll work on PowerPC Macs, though it will connect to the monitor out port, as it's the same physcial port all the way up through the beige G3 models.

Apple computer restoration. Was what I needed.

No settings to mess with, supports higher resolutions than the old one I used to have. Worked perfectly on my Power Mac 4400 hooked up to a standard VGA CRT monitor. Will buy again for some of my other vintage machines

I have a old computer . This was the right connector , however it did not work . Not getting the picture on my monitor . No worries .

I had to move the TV I was using as a display for my 1995 Power Macintosh 8500, so I hadn't been able to use it for a couple of months. I saw this adapter on Amazon and saw that it should work. It arrived yesterday, and I installed it on the Mac about an hour ago. Now I can use an old VGA display with my 8500. Simple install, good price, great picture quality. The 8500 lives again!

I was looking for a adaptor for an old mac 7100/66 which had a 15 pin port in the back as an additional expansion to the usual monitor port cable which frankly are expensive and difficult to get hold off ! , plugged it to a monitor and the mac lives !! highly recommend, I can now go back and wonder at early macintosh
