Looks Good, Feels Good, Very warm + dry, Thanks Condor exactly what I was looking for!
Condor Delivers again. Top Quality jacket. Great for anyone looking for a warm outer wear jacket that keeps you dry , sprayed water on it with a spray bottle and all the water beaded off. This means water "Resistant" treated with teflon. I wore it out in a snowstorm that was melting flakes, no probs whatsoever. However this jacket is not "Waterproof" meaning it will allow water to come through the zippers in a heavy downpour rain. If you want waterproof you'll have to get goretex and pay a lot more for it. Excellent Fit, I like a snug fit and this is perfect enough to wear a fleece hoodie or sweatshirt+ baselayer underneath with for extra warmth in sub 30 degree temps. Love the Velcro sections for morale patches! I am 5' 10 and 150 lbs , former military I got the medium. Highly suggest you take your own measurements as directed on the Condoroutdoor.com site. Extremely comfortable 4 way stretch material, velcro cuffs for warm air seal. I can easily carry my wallet, cell, keys, earbuds, knife, pen, mp3 player, pen light, sunglasses, id , 550 cord , beanie hat, gloves, bandana, medical mask, 15 note cards 3 x 5, small sewing kit, 32 gb flash drive , pack of 5 gum, small bic lighter, advil pill case, credit card size multi tool, chapstick, although I do not carry all of this gear everyday , it can be done if needed, could carry even more. 12 pockets total! Hood is great , does the job, room enough to wear a hat under it, stashes nicely in the collar however the collar has a hard time laying flat . Wearing the hood and zipping the front all the way up almost completely shields the face from wind and weather. With your hands in the front pockets drawstrings are available to tighten the hood without having to take your hands out, nice feature but I will prob not use, unless it was super windy and cold out.Pitt zips are great to cool off if needed. If its cold out it helps a lot to have all of the zippers closed. Material is a little bit noisy as it rubs together . the only negative I can find is the front zipper, I have read other reviews on this as well, it is sticky and sometimes difficult to fasten however I have found the solution to this! 1st off it does not fasten like a traditional zipper, bcoz it will open from the bottom AND the top it has a slightly different process for getting it fastened... as follows (as you are wearing it and looking down at the zipper) Instead of pulling the right hand piece all the way down and then trying to insert the left and then try to pull it up like you would a normal zip.... you have to insert the left side into the middle piece and with your index finger push upwards on that middle piece at the same time lifting upwards with your right hand fingers until the 2 zipper sides enter the middle piece and connect, make sure the bottom ends of the teeth portion are protruding out of the bottom about a 1/4 inch or so THEN you can pull it up to tighten it;) will take some practice but as soon as you are trained it will come natural. Some loose threads appear after a week or so but can be easily snipped off. Bought a 2nd jacket for my son he loves it.

5 year review and why I'm buying again
I got my first Condor Summit jacket in Sept 2015 because I got a job where I go outside every day. This jacket has been a blessing to me. I have worked about 75% of that time on night shift facing the cold, salty wind (near the ocean) and occasional snow. Even when I add a warm liner underneath the jacket is flexible enough that I'm perfectly comfortable with the added layer inside. When I want to cool down I unzip the armpits and lower back vents. The pocket sizes and locations are just right. I have used the hood many times and it has a pocket to hide it when you don't need it. Finally after over 5 years of continual use the main zipper died so I bought another jacket. That is a great value for the money to me. If you look at the pictures, although my old jacket is quite worn it is in pretty good shape for what I've put it through. I am going into work tonight with my new jacket and when this one bites the dust in the future, I plan to buy another one again. There are not really any down sides to the jacket unless you are expecting features which aren't advertised or comparing it to something which has features it doesn't. For what it is, I think it's perfect.

Tactical Spring/Fall Jacket
This jacket was everything I was looking for. Every other review kept saying "Not waterproof" which of course you can't go swimming with it then expect not to come out wet but when it's raining this is the jacket I grab out of the closet every time. Also, it's not the warmest of jackets but I feel like that's not the design of it. Yes, this will keep you warm in the 50°F but it won't replace your winter jacket by any means. I bought this jacket for the reason of needing a spring/fall jacket since I already have a jacket I love for the winter months in the cold state of MN.If I were to ask for something to be different in this jacket is the zipper. It is a little tough to grab and just zip up but once it's started it's as smooth as butter. Also if I could recommend something it would be to go try this jacket on. I have a police equipment store nearby and they had this jacket. I was able to find what size I was by trying on all the sizes. I was planning on buying a small (since I'm only 125lbs) but I found out that the medium actually fits me better as a jacket. The small was really small.. Be warned!
