Well made shirt and nice fit, but go a size up

Quality is great, however, the shirt has significant shrinkage after two washes. Bought a L size, shrink to smaller than M. Check label before you buy, if the material is 100% cotton, you need to buy at least one size up.

Really great value, it looks good, sits well on the body, and the fabric is super nice. I just ordered two more in different colors.

I had high hopes for the Nautica Men’s Slim Fit Short Sleeve Solid Soft Cotton Polo Shirt, but it fell short—literally and figuratively. The fit was okay out of the package, but after the first wash, the shirt became noticeably shorter in length, making it ride up uncomfortably and look awkward when untucked.The washability is a major issue. Not only did the shirt shrink more than expected, but the color faded fast, especially around the seams and collar. Speaking of the collar, the worst part is the permanent crease that formed around it. No matter how I washed, dried, or ironed it, the crease wouldn’t come out—it makes the shirt look cheap and worn, even when freshly laundered.In terms of material thickness, it’s thinner than I expected. It doesn’t feel premium or substantial and does very little in terms of structure. That impacts both functionality and value for money—for the price, I expected much better quality.Lastly, the flattering factor just isn’t there. The poor length, faded color, and droopy collar make it look sloppy, not sleek. I really wanted to like this shirt, but unfortunately, it’s a one-and-done wear for me.
