I read the other reviews about these being tight. They are snug but since I do not have large calves they work great for me. ( I don't have skinny legs either).They are well padded on bottom but not thick. Wear well and wash well. They will relax after several washings but don't loose shape.

It could be that the crew socks I remember are no more. These are comfortable in the foot area, they really do stretch to fit; I wear a size 10 shoe. The stretch above the ankle, not so much. The are tight and I did not ven try to pull them up any higher than the ankle. They are almost as sheer as nylons. I really wish I did not have to buy six to find out all this. I probably will not reorder.

I have worn these socks for about three months now. I love them and plan on purchasing more. They are soft, comfortable, don't bunch up at the toes, and most importantly, they actually stay up! I don't have to keep pulling my socks up all day and my calves are "medium" size--not skinny and not thick. Now I need to find a way to keep my kid from stealing them and all will be right with the world! Truly, these are a good purchase.

There are several shades of black. Some of the ribbing is different.I have to go through all the individual socks to find 2 that match.Fit is larger than a 9-11. The heels on some, come above my ankle when put on. I have to push them down, which results in a very loose fit on my foot, causing wrinkles in the socks. I will try to shrink them in the near future.I wear a size 7.5 shoe, so 9-11 usually fits me great for socks.Quality is inconsistent for color, ribbing and size.

Great product... My wife says it's good... I really can't say much more about it ....shipping was really fast...
