Banana plugs fitting and size.
The rubber cleats are 3 mm shorter than the bottom side of the banana plug screws. The plugs can cause scratches and or shorting out. Can't use a breadboard power supply on the same side as the banana plugs. No adhesive on the cleats. The punched holes are too large. Save the banana plugs aside for another project. Breadboard holes are good, not too big or tight.

Low quality - mismatched components
The item is shipped partially assembled with no instructions - the breadboard is glued to the baseplate and binding posts need to be assembled. The base plate is pre-punched with D-holes for mounting the included binding posts. The holes are oversize so the binding posts (no D-shape) fit loosely and slop around in the holes which causes them to work loose. There are no lock washers so they're always loose. The breadboard on the one I received was misaligned when it was glued at the factory so it sits permanently askew on the baseplate. The included rubber feet which are not mounted at the factory aren't self adhesive (you'll need to buy some glue) nor are they high enough to keep the binding posts from touching whatever surface the unit is setting on. If your work surface is metallic, they will make contact and short. I should also mention that the binding post colors don't match the color stripes painted on the breadboard and the penetration pressure required to insert a jumper is inconsistent across the breadboard. Conclusion, a disappointing waste of money.

Works fine, but oh the feet!!
It's tough to rate something like this, as it either works or doesn't. And it does work. However, the supplied rubber feet are useless! First, there is no adhesive with which to attach them. Normally I would expect some sort of glue on the feet or double-sided tape in the package.Second, they are too short! The connectors for power extend from the bottom of the base farther than the height of the feet. If I could attach the feet, the connectors would still scratch the table.I'll find some replacements and get on with my life.

NOT what I expected
First, those are NOT 5-way binding posts like I thoought they were. Just banana plugs It gives the impression that you can unscrew the top and fasten a spade connector under it, but this will unscrew the NOT secured nut on the bottom.Number two: Those rubber feet that it comes with? Don't count on them sticking to anything. NO adhesive on the feet. You supply your own Super Glue. And C: The quality of the breadboard connections is yet to be decided. I've not been impressed with any breadboard that I have bought in the last three years. I had been using an old Archer brand purchased from Radio Snack probably 30 years ago that still worked very well and STILL gave a better component connection than anything of recent vintage. DAMN you Radio Shack for having such good, cheap products and then going out of business on us.I won't buy this again. I'll be looking for something of slightly higher quality. SELLER! I HOPE YOU'RE LISTENING! Its CRAP.

OK for most purposes
The heavy non-conductive base provides a good stable platform for the four sections that can/must be wired individually. It would be better if it was only 3 sections with one being the entire length of the board. As it is there are eight possible independent voltage sections that have to be either wired or linked. It would be really cool if there were 2 switches, one to activate a common ground to all sections and the other for a common voltage. The little rubber feet, which the user must apply, are not quite large enough to keep nuts below the three voltage terminals from touching the surface which would be a problem is using it on a metal desktop.

I should have read the reviews :(
This is what I get for ordering in the middle of the night and not reading the reviews first. I should know better. As others have said, the power terminals are less than useless. If perhaps their were covers over the bottom of them, or at least if the included rubber feet were tall enough to keep the terminals from hitting and scratching the table below. As is they are dangerous as one could easily short them while actually damaging the table they sit on. They also make the board very wobbly as it won't sit flat.Speaking of the included rubber feet, they do not come with any adhesive. Even if they were tall enough, they won't stay attached to the board. The Breadboards themselves seem to be ok, the connections seem a little loose for my preference, but they still work. It's cheap enough I will not bother with a return. I'll just toss the terminals in the bin, and find some glue for the feet. Not what I was looking for, but....

You get what you pay for.
Comes unassembled, plastic posts are flimsy, rubber feet included but are not self stick! How am I to attach the slick rubber feet??

Nice Protoboard
Overall, this protoboard is correct in its pinhole spacings and power bus line color codes. Very helpful!Be advised that the protoboard is not shipped as pictured. Partial assembly is required. The banana jacks-binding posts have to be attached. There are four rubber "feet" that come with the kit, but you must use your own supply of adhesive to attach the feet to the bottom of the protoboard mounting plate. Aside from taking the time to assemble the protoboard, the product was worth the money.
