We have a front porch at our entrance, and for years have hung various hanging flower baskets to welcome our guests. While I love flowers, the spot where it hangs gets a ton of sun, meaning I had to water twice a day or the flowers would die. Even despite my best efforts they would burn up - and a waste of water to boot. After considering what would work best there, and wishing to eschew tacky wind chimes, we decided to try this out. It is so much more beautiful in real life, and our guests consistently ask us about it. While I wish it was a bit bigger to make a bolder statement, it's perfect for the scale of our small front porch and is definitely an eye-catcher. We put electric tea-lights in it, and it gives off a lovely glow in the evenings when we're expecting visitors.

Bought these to put on my fireplace mantle and they look great. I bought battery powered candles to go inside them. The reason I am giving it 4 stars not 5 because when I ordered 2 one of them was damaged so I sent it back and bought another one. The new one came and was not damaged. So just FYI you may get a damaged one but these are good looking so it was worth going through the trouble.

This is your typical economy Moroccan-style lantern. It is not from Morocco, it is made in China. The metal is thin, it definitely was mass produced in a factory and not truly handmade (the description does not claim it is handmade, I just thought I would point this out). I am giving this 5-starts because I feel for the price it is well-worth it, and the description was accurate and not misleading. If you want authentic, thick metal and glass Moroccan lanterns for your home decor, this is not it. But if you want cheap ones for a party or event setting, this is ideal.

I could either pay $7 shipping or enter $10 more in my cart to get free shipping on my order, so I purchased this to take advantage of the free shipping offer......I'm glad I did! It looks exactly like it does in the online photo -- really pretty. Looks nice on my mantel (coordinates with my fireplace screen); would also look nice sitting on top a small stack of books on a side table. The hinged door is easy to open....I have a candle in mine, but haven't tried to burn it. Really nice item. Looks good displayed all by itself.

After reading some of the reviews I was dubious - but these were delivered within 2 days, came in mint condition and they are lovely for the price. I did not think they looked cheap at all. I ordered 4 which I suspended on chains from my patio ceiling, so that I can burn citronella candles. The holes allow the aroma of the candles to circulate nicely and they are a really lovely to look at. I'm well pleased with this purchase.. i suspended on chains also from amazon, and it works great.

Loved this. We bought two and put them on each side of the sidewalk before you get to our house on some shepard hooks. Every person that walks by loves them too. I had some candles with timers that I put in them, them turn on at 6:30 pm and turn off at 9:30 pm. They look fantastic. They are not too big and not too small but just right. I was thinking these would be great decorations for weddings with the right flowers around them. Very, very pretty.

Great product and cheap enough I can buy several for around the pool patio. These hold a medium sized candle very easily with votives looking to be the norm. I haven't had them out for very long so don't know how they will hold up to the Sun. If I don't do an update then they have done well. Haha.
