Trust worthy
This is my third purchase of this item, the first purchased lasted approximately 4 years, the second one was not working properly, returned it,and purchased another one. Working great just like the first one. I highly recommend this item, convenient to use and carry with you should you have to.

Better than expected
I paid a premium for the Omron brand and because it is bluetooth. Works great, pressures match the readouts of the large Omron cuff unit we have except I now don't have to remove my shirt. The only down side is that the memory erases if you remove a battery. The console unit does not dump the memory when you change batteries. I'm pleased.

Bought to replace my old one
Unfortunately my dog snuck my original OMRON off the table and destroyed it. I was devastated because I really, really liked the device. That said. I’m very happy with my new one. There are a few extra features that make it more functional. I connected it to my smartphone and it automatically logs my readings, this means I can easily share them with my cardiologist and GP. So convenient and easy. I highly recommend this device.

Accurate and Easy to use
I have tried many of these cuff units. My experience has been that they are widely inaccurate. Most MDs will tell you an upper arm monitor is the gold standard. I have both this unit and an Omron upper arm unit. Maybe it’s the indicator that assures the right position, but I was very impressed to see almost identical readings (+/- 1mm), over several days, on the units. This unit so much smaller to store and nice if you need to travel with. The only reason I did not offer a 5star rating is because the readings are not backlit and a little hard to read in low light.

I am returning this in just over 24 hours
I purchased this unit because of the reviews and it's advertised functionality of accuracy and irregular heartbeat detection, however it isn't working properly at all. I received it 24 hours ago and I just spoke with their customer support about this unit. The problem has been that it will not take a reading no matter what I do. It inflates, the blue heart comes on to ensure the cuff is on properly and I am sitting still as it suggested. The only thing I'm doing is breathing normally and the screen says E4 after it has fully deflated and there's no reading of either pulse or blood pressure. I've never in all my years required anyone to hold their breath to take a blood pressure. And it seems that the only way for this monitor to function is if you are sitting on a hard chair with your arm on a hard surface and don't breathe. Wrong, as I tried that as well and got the same result. So he suggested that I return it promptly for a different unit but if this product only can be used in one exact position, I can't use it because if I'm dizzy and need to recline and check my blood pressure, then I'm S.O.L. so perhaps I may ask to exchange it and give it one more chance, because he told me that I just may have received a dysfunctional unit, but for the price I could get 2 other different products. I will update later. Editing review: I'm still keeping it at 1 star because the replacement unit arrived yesterday and it worked as it should, but today I tried to use it and again it has the same E4 code. I don't need something this expensive and unreliable. Blood pressures need to be taken in other positions than sitting up on a chair at a table so I'm returning this unit ASAP for a refund and purchase one somewhere else that will actually work.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Best one I’ve ever used. Excellent quality and easy to work. Set date and boom you’re ready to go. Highly recommend this brand.

What an upgrade
I finally wore out my last Omron BP wrist cuff. This one is a major improvement. Still uses the oscillometric method I prefer and is so quiet I thought it was broken at first. Keeps readings for two users. Sends readings to the app on my phone - which charts the readings and is very helpful at doctor's office visits. Easy enough to set up, but do read the instructions as this version has a lot of useful features.

Detailed Review with Pros and Cons
I bought this for my visually impaired 74-year old mother who also has dexterity issues from a stroke. She can’t use her arm blood pressure cuff on herself because of her dexterity issues. I chose the Omron wrist blood pressure machine because the description listed that it can connect to Alexa-enabled devices, so I was hoping that she could use Alexa to read her measurements to her. There are some great things about this device and some not so great, so I found it hard to rate. 0 stars - it is NOT compatible with Alexa-enabled devices. I tried connecting it to the Alexa app on my mom’s iPhone and her Echo Dot, but they won’t connect. The Alexa app does not show any Omron device as compatible. 0 stars - The display. I’m not visually impaired, but even I had a hard time reading it in low light. My mom could not read it at all, even with her magnifying glass. 4 stars - Omron Connect app. Downloaded the app, created an account, then easily paired the device with the app on my Mom’s iPhone (12, I think). The description says the app is free, which is true, but it lists features that are only available with a paid premium subscription, like being able to share your data with your doctor. The more robust reporting is also premium, but if you need basic tracking of your BP, it can do that in a line graph. In the free version, you can also set up reminders to take your BP, medicine, and some other things that I don’t remember at the moment. Sorry. The Omron Connect app also stores data from any Bluetooth-enabled Omron device, like their scale, so I thought it was nice feature to have all that data in one place. BONUS - My mom can use the iPhone accessibility feature to read the screen to her, so her iPhone will read her measurements to her. 5 stars - Ease of use. Even with her dexterity issues, she is able to get the cuff secured on her wrist. She can feel the start/stop button to easily start the machine. 2 stars - Noise level. This thing is quiet! However, there is no beep to let you know it’s finished reading your blood pressure, and since the display is difficult to see for a visually impaired person, or if in low light, this makes it difficult to know when the device is done. 4 stars - Comfort. This would be great for someone with sensory issues that can’t stand the squeeze of an arm cuff. You can hardly feel the squeeze on your wrist (I tested it on myself, too). The trade off is it takes longer than an arm cuff to inflate and read your BP, as well as you don’t have that pressure release and noise to know the device is done reading. We would have returned the device because of the display if her iPhone couldn’t read the measurements to her. There is a cheaper wrist device on Amazon that will read the measurements out loud, however, because the app keeps track of the measurements and gives me basic reporting I can show the doctors at my mom’s visits, we decided to keep it. I think that about covers it. I’ll update my review as my mother begins using it regularly. Hopefully she will actually do it now that we found a device that overcomes her dexterity and visually impairment issues. Hopefully…..
