Stellar shoe. Somewhat snug due to the narrow design. But still comfortable. Very waterproof but still breathable. Sharp looking enough for taking out and about.

I’m not sure why some people are complaining about the look or the stiffness. I purchased these shoes to trek through rugged terrain and they do just that. Sure I wouldn’t wear these out to the store but that’s not what they’re for, they look awesome for a hiking shoe. The stiffness is actually something I like, switching from soft hiking shoes these add much more support and my feet don’t fatigue. Only sore in my legs the next day, not my feet. Finally they fit perfect right off the bat.Also gortex is awesome.

Not bad. Comfortable, waterproof, good grip but my heal slides out a bit and the tongue is too chunky.

These are awesome if you know what to expect. This isn't a cushy floaty shoe at all. It has the underfoot support you would expect of a legit hiking boot. Some trail running shoes have aggressive grip but a very soft cushion, which will kill your feet eventually if you are hiking on rough terrain with pointy rocks, etc. The construction is stout and I expect them to last a long time. The goretex clearly works on mine. These would be great for hiking a rocky 14er, but you'd want something softer for walking around town.

Bought these back in the spring to wear on vacation hikes and working outside. They have great tread on loose and slippery surfaces and are comfortable. Being low rise, they don't have much ankle support but are tight so you don't slip around.

Being a full time paramedic, it’s important that I have comfort and protection while I’m on my feet for 12 hours. There have both and then some. They offer the protection of a light duty boot while offering the comfort of a sneaker. I have been actively using these for over a month and not one complaint! Plus they look really nice!

I wear custom orthotics and require a very stiff sole to support the orthotic. The Continental sole on these is stiff in the shank but flexible at the ball of the foot; perfect for supporting my orthotics. The Continental sole also has great traction when hiking and seems to wear quite a long time. The Gortex lining keeps my feet dry. I highly recommend these shoes, especially if you have foot problems that require a custom orthotic.

Pretty stiff out of the box but fairly comfy now. I’m digging them.Update. The plastic piece in the front is pulling away already. I’d also like to say they run small. This is my normal size and they feel narrow.
