Great watch strap, cool colors
I bought this strap to go with my Seiko 5 automatic watch. I wasn't a huge fan of the tan straps it came with, so I wanted to get something with more color. This strap is awesome. I've had it for 6 months now, and it's holding up great. The nylon is comfortable, seems durable, and holds the watch well. I think the colors in the photo are accurate to what you receive. Personally I think the navy and red goes well with a lot of outfits. Pros: - Good color - Holds your watch securely. There's no chance this will come undone from your wrist or the watch (say compared to the two-piece straps in which the spring can pop out of the watch and your watch will get busted). - Durable, rugged - Comfortable Cons: - All I can think of is if you have an automatic watch and are a fan of seeing its workings on the backside of the watch, you cannot see this with your NATO watch strap for the way it loops in there, it covers the back. Highly recommend this strap at the $10 price point. Great way to basically give yourself a completely different looking watch for cheap.

Looks very slick
I bought this band to replace a stainless steel bracelet on my Seiko 5. I wanted something that looked a little more interesting than a generic (cheap) bracelet and wanted a little more comfort as well. This Bond NATO band is fantastic. It has totally transformed the look of my watch from just an average looking Seiko into a very cool looking timepiece. I was a little worried that switching from the bracelet to a nylon band would cheapen the look, but that's not the case at all. If anything, it looks like a more expensive watch now. Aside from the looks, it's made my watch much, much more comfortable to wear. I used to take it off for periods of time during the day because the metal against my skin would get a little uncomfortable. Now, I forget that I'm even wearing a watch. I put it on in the morning and take it off when I go to bed. No more having to take breaks from an uncomfortable watch. And the nylon has made the watch itself much lighter compared to the metal bracelet. All in all, it's a great band and a pretty cool way to customize your watch. If it's good enough for James Bond, it's good enough for me.

Good Quality, Standard NATO strap, Poor packaging though...
UPDATE: After wearing this NATO strap for a couple of days and doing further research on NATO straps I feel that I have been too harsh on this product, hence I am adding a star to the rating and updating the headline. I found that the thinner strap is really adding to the ease and comfort of wearing the watch versus my thicker NATO straps. I am keeping the review to 4 stars due to the poor packaging and the flimsy metal hardware. The strap however is quite good, better than I initially thought, primarily because it's thin and forgiving. There is no break in time like thicker NATO straps. *************************** I got this band as I needed one for a 21mm lug for an older Casio Marlin Diver that I had. The strap arrived on schedule. It arrived in a quart ziplock bag with 2 loose spring bars. Pretty casual, amateur looking packaging which was disappointing but really the band what was important. When I inspected the band it was a new band that obviously had not been used before. So that was good that it was new and unused even though the packaging looked otherwise. First thing I noticed is that the band was of a much thinner nylon than my Ritchie NATO bands. So thin it feels paper thin. The hardware is made of thinner steel and not the chunky metal rings and buckle that I am used to. There were no instructions or warranty or ANYTHING included other than the band and spring bars so if you've never put on a NATO strap go out to Google and there are many articles on how to do so. One of the pluses about the band is that because the material is thinner than my other NATO straps the band and watch are easy and comfortable to wear. I have a DeBeer leather band I purchased at my local jewelry store and it was of very high quality so I felt comfortable getting this one as the description states that it's a DeBeer product. After getting it, it's either not a DeBeer or DeBeer has let me down. Overall the strap is okay but I am not thrilled with the quality of the strap itself and the poor packaging it came in. The strap is comfortable but the metal hardware seems cheap and the strap is very thin. I'll start wearing this and we'll see how well it holds up over time. If you don't see an update then you know that the band is still doing what it's supposed to. I am not very hard on my watches so I hope there are no issues.

Good
As a watch enthusiast, I am always looking for ways to change up the looks of my watches to keep things interesting and the best way to do that is to change straps/bracelets. I have never really liked NATO straps before but for some reason I just decided to come on Amazon and browse through the selection. To be specific, I was looking for an Orange/Black combination and this was the one that was the most appealing to me. Since NATO straps are cheap, I decided to order this one just to try it out. Thanks to Amazon Prime, I received the package the very next day and put it on my watch right away. At first I thought my watch looked a bit funny because I was not used to NATO straps, however I fell in love right away after putting it on. The quality of this NATO is superb. The stitching's are done very precisely and the bracelet is very thin. The three buckles are highly polished and they are of very good quality. The strap was very easy to install and on the wrist it is very comfortable, for the summer days it is perfect. The strap is quiet long and I am sure it will fit anyone's wrist up to 8 1/2 inches. Overall for the money, it is a very good investment and if you are on the edge of purchasing this product, trust me buy it. I am very happy with this product and it has helped me become fond of NATO straps.

It's ok
This NATO band is ok. The metal rings are held in place via heat seals and are not stiched. Ballistic nylon is a little thinner than I was expecting after using zulu bands in the past. I prefer to have the metal rings heat sealed and stiched, and for thicker material, but this looks like it'll last awhile anyway. Looks pretty sharp on a black faced watch. Don't know that I'd buy this one again over a zulu, but don't feel like I wasted my money. Edited to add: I just looked at the price on this, I don't know if it's changed since I bought it, but I would not pay more for this than a zulu band.

Fits J. Crew and Timex Tachymeter-Style Weekender perfectly
This band fits the J. Crew Military Timex watch perfectly, although I lost the watch! Never fear, I simply ordered a Timex T2N639 tachymeter Weekender (which is sturdier and looks heftier than other Weekenders, and has an 18mm lug) and popped this band on......and it looks great! I actually received compliments from a friend wearing a J. Crew Timex Military watch with the included J. Crew nylon NATO-style band, and has to confess that no, my watch was not the 'upgraded' version of his, but rather two actually CHEAPER pieces (strap and timepiece) that I got on Amazon! The package arrived promptly two days, early morning after ordering Prime and was in even better condition than some of the store-bought Weekender straps I picked up at Target. A few things: - This IS a NATO-style strap, meaning is has the extra length of nylon and brushed steel loop that 'locks' the timepiece in place once threaded through. This is nicer than the 'pass-through' shorter style of the Weekender 20mm interchangeable bands you can find for $7 at Target. - The quality is somewhere in the middle. I submerged this (and my watch, obviously) for a few hours at the pool the other day and the band stood up superbly, remaining relatively dry and slick without getting weighed down or wearing from being waterlogged and dried. Even so, comparing it to an 'OEM' J. Crew band, the clasp holes are noticeably being stressed a bit by the hardware when the watch is worn. The knit of the nylon is pretty tight -- much better than the Weekender bands, which appear to 'catch' and 'drag' the holes with a weak knit -- but not quite as good as its $20 counterparts at J. Crew. Even so, this design/color is better than any offered at the store (if you can even find them!) and is cheaper to boot. Basically, I love this product. After blowing $25 on a handful of different-colored Weekender pass-through straps at Target, I'm happy to have the one and only band I actually need/wanted for my Timex; and this is it.

Great band.
I am using this band with the Seiko 5 automatic watch. Be sure you get the proper size band - for the Seiko 5, the 18mm fits perfectly. Luckily I asked my friend who has these before I bought, I was about to buy the 22mm ones. I like this strap, it's sturdy, looks great, there's no signs of wear or frayed edges, etc. This seems like it will hold up for a long time; and even if this band gets ripped, puked on, dipped in sewage, etc, at this price, I'd just go buy replacements. The price is great, because you're not just going to want to buy one, you'll want at least two or more. If you haven't used a "single-strap" watch band before, you should totally get one. You'll spend a good 15 minutes or so getting the pins out to remove your old 2-piece strap, but once you do, just put the pins back in, and then you can switch out a single-piece strap in under 60 seconds. So literally everyday, I'll just swap out my watch band to go with whatever outfit I'm wearing.

Solid watch band
Good quality nylon military band. A s they go, NATO bands are probably the safest, most comfortable, hygienic bands you can put on your watch. They don't collect grime, the back of your watch doesn't make contact with your skin, preserving it and preventing sweat or smell; water doesn't damage them and they can be washed. Easy to install, and if a lug breaks your valuable watch still hangs by the other one. They look good on both your Rolex and your Timex, they are simply timeless and classic. The olive/black looks great on my Hamilton Khaki which has a black dial. Works great with light dials too, the olive matches just fine with white, black, brown, yellowish/gold; any dial color really; and can replace a black or brown band. I suspect it wouldn't look bad on a golden cased watch either. This band fits my average wrist perfectly, with a couple of holes on the thin side and plenty left for thicker wrists. I wish they were stitched instead of glued at the rings and buckle, but I'll wait and see how durable they are before criticizing this aspect. They're not branded anywhere, they come in a ziploc bag with lugs included. Rather nondescript but I'm not that much of a brand snob. if it's good it's good.
