I heard these would be good for going to theme parks during the summer and oh yes they are. Literally lifesavers! If you are going to any theme park like Disney World or Six Flags during the hot summer I would highly recommend these. Especially if you're going somewhere humid. Really helps with the stagnant humid air.WEIGHT: They are very lightweight hanging around the neck. I hate wearing things around my neck and I never noticed it even after days of wearing it.TEMPERATURE: The fan only pumps air that's around you so no it will not 'cool' the air, but it still feels amazing. When you get into an AC'd building however you really feel the amazingly cold air blowing all over your face. It's like heaven. lol.BATTERY: The battery life is short because it only takes two AA batteries. I pushed the limits running it 8 hours straight and by the end of each day, I had to change the batteries because the flow was so weak. Just make sure to bring enough batteries for every day you're going to be using it. You could push it to two days but again the flow is very weak in comparison to having fresh new batteries in it. (I would love if the next model could have a rechargeable battery option because that would come in handy).SAFETY: Also, I have long hair and the blade did worry me being so close to my face. Don't worry! The blades are what I would call an open blade - if that makes sense?! My hair was only puled in a few times being careless and it came right out with no harm done. It's a cool looking blade that I wish we could use in every neck fan.NOISE: It is the quietest fan I've come across. You can hear a slight hum in a quiet room but it so quiet and lightweight that you honestly forget it's there.Recommending these amazing creations for the rest of my life! 😊

We bought these for a Disney trip in July to cope with the hot humid temps. I was disappointed to discover one of the 4 fans didn’t have a battery cover straight out if the box but it was the day before the trip so we just taped the batteries in. It worked. Not ideal. The fans were okay. They were reasonably quiet, but mostly because they weren’t very strong. It was super convenient to use them with no hands, although they did get a bit uncomfortable on my neck after wearing them a while because of the thin string. Hindsight, I would have bought a misting fan instead even if I had to carry it in the stroller because these weren’t really keeping up with the extreme heat.I don’t think other than the missing battery cover that they weren’t what they were supposed to be, I just wasn’t extremely impressed in our use case. The cooling towels we bought were a lot more effective at beating the heat, although the fans did kick them up a notch. Undoubtedly better than no fans at all and the price was fair for what they are. Batteries lasted all day too. But I would have taken the cooling towels any day if the week over the fans.

I love these so much. I bought them as gifts and I have two I use often when it's hot. I like that I can hang it around my neck and not worry about it. Unlike other fans which you have to hold the entire time you want to use it, the vent on this makes it completely handsfree.

I have been using these for the last 9 years. Being a person, who tends to be warm, working in areas, which tend to be hot, the cooling breeze is necessary. Working as a cashier, unable to move around much m this was a necessary addition, at work. The ability to change the batteries, in a matter of seconds, is crucial.Just keep extra batteries in your pocket.I have tried the rechargeable types and they fail. Charge never lasts as long as advertised .
