Perfect introduction for those big feelings
My 2-year old is obsessed with this book. We literally read it every night, and it’s given me something to say when she’s melting down: “Remember Mad Mad Bear? He feels better when he takes a nap!”

We can’t get enough of Bear!
I have to keep re-ordering this book because my friends all want a copy — even the ones without kids but ESPECIALLY the ones with kids. I can’t say enough good things about this books physical beauty, message, soothing and real ways. Bear is such a fully developed character in a fully developed world. We love him (and his beautiful Mama Bear!).

Perfect for toddlers!
This is a great read-aloud for toddlers. Being mad about having to take a break from playing is COMPLETELY RELATABLE for kids aged 2-4. Our son will do the calming breaths along with Mad Bear. A great find!

Great book
My 2 year old loves this book. I got it for her to help with her temper tantrums. Its written in a way that she can easily understand, and helps her understand emotions. She still has her tantrums, but I think there has been some improvement since this book.

Great story for kids when mad
Daughter just turned 3 and loves this book at bedtime. She can relate to Mad mad bear and laughs at some of the pages. She memorized the story since we’ve been reading it nightly.

A little bear is angry-how will he feel better again?
Mad, Mad Bear is a good introduction for young children on the emotion of anger and some examples of how one feels and acts when angry like yelling and stomping around. The book also addresses simple coping skills when dealing with being upset such as taking a nap.
