I purchased this product to avoid inhaling the fumes from hand-held lighters whilst smoking. This hemp wick is great, it’s organic, smells natural when burning, and DOESN’T DRIP at all! I definitely think it’s worth the money as this provides a healthier way of smoking, and it seems like it’s going to last a really long time (I’ve had it for a couple months and have not come close to making a dent in it)

I use this to light a tobacco pipe. I wanted something that was thin, burned easily with very little wax residue, does not burn too fast though, and can be easily angled down into the bowl to protect the rim of my pipes. This Beneroots hemp wick ticks all the boxes for me. Hemp wick has a much cooler flame than a butane lighter and that is another reason to use this if you don't want to fiddle with matches all the time.

I gave 4 stars because it had less of a "hempy" flavor/smell when burning, and for me that was one of the absolutely GAME-CHANGING factors of lighting your smoke with hempwick instead of directly from those nasty butane lighters.When I opened this pack (which was a bit smaller than I was expecting, I took a pic next to my lighter for reference), I immediately noticed how much stickier and stiffer this hemp was compared to the hemp that came from my Hemplight dispenser... which I didn't like bc I was afraid it would be like plastic, like others said. But it also burns slower than the last I had, so I've come to the conclusion that there is a higher beeswax/hemp ratio (I am assuming this is what people are talking about when referring to the "plasticky" smell) than the original hemp, which is pictured on the right in my photos. A slower burn may be great for candle making, but again, I liked the stronger hemp flavor (still pretty mild) of the original hemp which was softer, had a thicker (but also faster/uneven burning wick) in addition to a lot less beeswax. This kind has basically no hemp flavor, which is okay but just not as nice.I was a little skeptical on purchasing this brand of hemp bc some reviewers in the comments claimed it wasn't organic (where's the proof?) and/or this tastes like plastic. The very first burn did smell a bit weird (in comparison to the hemp I was used to) but I didn't notice it after that. It did not smell unnatural or chemical-ly and I was still able to have an enjoyable smoking experience that truly feels like a lot less strain on the lungs.I do have to say that if I had tried this hemp the first time I smoked with hempwick, I would not have been so blown away by smoking with hemp as opposed to smoking with a lighters....although I would absolutely still use this and do not ever plan on going back to smoking with just a lighter--try it for yourself and you will see what I mean!! So I will use this roll for now, with how I smoke it probably won't take long (it only took the 2 of us 5 days to go through the complimentary 8 ft of hemp that came with my lighter, which is why I made this purchase) but when it's gone I will try another brand until I find what I think is the "best" hempwick brand, for smoking.

I recently started using hemp wick to light up the bong instead of a lighter and let me tell you, it is FANTASTIC. If you consider yourself a true cannaisseur you gotta try it, it really enhances the experience and flavor when enjoying some bud. I ran out of my first roll of hemp wick and ordered this because it had great reviews and you get 200ft. Which was more than I got my first time trying hemp wick (different brand).BUT! The thing that hit it out of the ballpark for me was the packaging of the wick itself.Genius.Super convenient for how I use it but yeah wow had me shook. Great product overall, good bang for your buck too.

My friend uses another brand but also recommended this. It burns smoothly and has a light scent like incense. I sometimes allow it to burn itself out or just put it out by pinching it (no flame). No complaints. It’s a very simple product. Others might have other particular expectations...which I kind of do and don’t understand. I only want to burn my herb without a butane lighter and this wick accomplishes that.

It's hemp wick, so it's good quality, organic & natural fiber wick that gives a clean, natural fire burn for smoking or lighting anything. The price is good, very cheap for a 200 ft roll of the stuff so it will last a long time. I saw 100 ft rolls of this from other sellers for about the same price.The problem is that it doesn't feel like it's coated with beeswax at all even though it says so, and that why I feel it is so cheap. I've purchased lots of hemp wick from other sellers and every time it is always waxy in consistency. I wrap it around my lighter, and it sticks to itself and stays on the lighter. This stuff keeps falling off my lighter and doesn't stick at all. It honestly just feels like hemp string but it's advertised as beeswax coated. They really skimped on that.So that's why it only gets 3 stars from me. It does the basic job of giving me a clean fire light but inconvenient if I want it to stay on my lighter or travel with it. If you're going to advertise it as beeswax coated then it needs to actually be coated enough so it sticks. I would return it but I already started using it. I recommend other hemp wicks, or if the seller could add more beeswax that would be good.
