Best Quality Thread
This is top quality thread, worth the higher cost, and is made of strong, silky cotton. This thread sews in beautifully, does not break or tangle in my Janome machine, and is a dream to work with. I hope to buy more and build a collection of colors. You will not regret buying it!

Love Guterman threat!
This is the best threat for my Surger and sewing machine. Strong and very little lint.

It's bright white
Gutermann makes some of my favorite threads and this one is no exception. The spool will fit on a serger machine spindle but it also fits on my forty year old Pfaff spindle and moves smoothly through the machine. Sewing by hand is smooth, too, and the thread does not break too much under stressful applications. Made in Germany, the spool is made of plastic and there is a slit in the label on the bottom which fits on the machine spindle without needing to be torn or removed. I like this so that I will know exactly what this thread is years from now if any thread remains.

When you buy quality, you get quality
This German brand thread is of great quality. That is necessary as a cheap thread shreds and frays, clogging sewing a sergers around the presserfeet.

Two of the four spools I received were the Gutermann thread advertised. Two of them were this weird nylon crap that immediately fans out into a fuzzy mess that I wouldn't dare attempt to put through my precious serger. I don't have time to do a replacement, so I guess I'm running out to see if I can find the right kind of thread tonight. It sure would have been much simpler had I been sent what I actually ordered.
