Organic Coconut Milk

This organic coconut milk actually taste and smells like what it’s suppose to be. So many times I’ve purchased other brands and it tasted more like glue. I’m enjoying this brand, the taste keeps you coming back for more. What’s great about it...it’s not thick even after opening and placing in refrigerator. It’s consistency is smooth and loose not thick or solid. It smells and taste like pure coconuts without the emulsifier (guar gum). The price is amazing about $2 each for 12 cans. This brand has no additives, fillers, preservatives and it’s BPA free. I received on time and all 12 cans were intact without any dents whatsoever. The expiration date is a whole year away on May 2022. Finally a brand that’s not hiding unhealthy ingredients in their product (guar gum). I didn’t realize how much I love coconut milk until now and taste so good in my morning coffee and smoothies. I do recommend to all for anyone who wants healthy coconut milk that’s straight out of a coconut with nothing added. ***KETO FRIENDLY!!! GREAT QUALITY!!! WILL BE BACK FOR MORE*** NEW COMMENT: WOW! Excellent coconut milk, smooth and natural. No gums or fake stuff.

THICK, rich, all natural coconut milk, nothing else. I got it to use instead of evaporated milk for smoothies (sort of like a soft-serve ice cream) for my sister who follows a WFPB diet for health reasons. Everyone loved the ice cream alternative! I sweetened mine with sucralose; others used honey, date syrup, or maple syrup. Delicious! Be aware, however, this is NOT a low calorie food!

This is the worst organic coconut milk I have ever tried. My go-to is the canned organic Aroy-D -- good flavor, smooth, and no weird additives. During the pandemic, it seems to be impossible to get, so I have been looking for alternatives until I can purchase Aroy-D again. Of the others I tried, Jiva has the worst consistency. Instead of coconut cream that tends to make up half of the can with the rest the coconut liquid like most other brands, this is an inch of hardened coconut oil (or some substance that I cannot identify) on the top and the rest a very thin milk like liquid. The hard coconut substance (oil?) does not break up or dissolve, even when put in a blender. It's still chunks!! The chunks of fat will dissolve if you heat the milk, but I don't always want to heat it for what I'm using it for. The hard coconut oil substance is harder than other coconut oils I use to saute food with, even at room temperatire. I have never seen anything so hard as this layer of coconut oil substance in the Jiva coconut milk. Totally useless. I'll stick with Native Forest organic Simple for now, which is closer to Aroy-D than others. Because the consistency was so disgusting, I can't comment on the flavor as I didn't taste it.

I love that there is no guar gum in this product. It frothed up nicely.

Many dented cans—clearly packed dented bc they are on the inside layer of the box. Multiple times I’ve ordered. Uh-oh! Love the product! Yet, it feels bad to trust the shipping company & have no recompense. Delicious coconut cream.

Seen a lot of reviews with dented cans, I’ve ordered this twice and they were in perfect condition. The taste is awesome with no fillers and garbage like other brands. I like that this has a higher fat content, so it’s very satisfying to have in my chai lattes as I can’t drink milk/ dairy. It was unavailable for a time so I had to watch for a few weeks to get more when they can available again.

This is by far the best coconut milk we found at Amazon. My wife and I like her because she has the taste of a real coconut. No additional stuff like Guar Gum or anything else is included there, everything we really do not need in our food. Since a true coconut is surrounded by a brown skin, a little returns may have at the bottom of the can, but that makes us even more secure that the product is 100% natural. The milk itself is white and tastes fresh like a freshly opened coconut itself. - We just love it!

I like this better than the brand I had been buying at my local store and it's cheaper to boot. It's nice and creamy and I haven't experienced any really big lumps although I do shake the can very well before opening. I am using coconut milk on a frequent basis these days so the cans won't sit in my pantry very long. The case of 12 cans arrived in perfect condition, no dented cans. I'll buy this again.

Out of the 12 coconut milk cans 8 were dented - "Dented cans can be a major risk factor for botulism". Trying to return this item was frustrating. I will never purchase this again, & just accept that I wasted money because I will not open anything that is dented. Not worth the risk.

Amazon- please package these cans in a tray carton in such a way that each can is securely/tightly fitted in the box, so they don't get jostled and dented. The cans arrived in a large box with one loose air bubble strip with the cans in a random tossed/jostled mess. About 8 of the 12 cans were dented. Coconut milk inside - good creamy texture, taste, and richness. Thanks.
