AMI PARTS WB03K10303 Upgraded Surface Burner Control Knob Compatible with P4980246, EAP3486484, PGB908SEM3SS,J2B918SEL2SS,PGB928SEM1SS

A little big for my GE cooktop, but I knew that in advance bc the co. supplied accurate measurements. Better quality than OEM and fit nicely.

These knobs are just better than the plastic ones they replaced, even though they look identical. The plating/paint on the plastic knobs started to flake and bubble after a few years. I am hoping these being metal won't do that. They have a good, solid heft to them. On just one knob, the one for the bottom oven, I had to pull the metal insert out of the "D" opening in the back and cut the rounded part away, leaving just the bottom portion as a sort of shim, to get it to fit the shaft. It was too tight with the whole insert, and too loose with the insert removed. Leaving just the bottom of the insert made it just right. The other knobs were no problem, and seem to be a different shaft than the bottom oven knob.

I replaced the old knobs on my GE profile, and they work perfect.

As advertised. The original knobs.that l rplaced 2 times were crome look on plastic. They have all cracked amd if a pan is to close they have melted. These are metal and heavy duty.and actually were less cost.

I had bought a set of 4 knobs previously but needed a center knob so I ordered this. However, I did not realize my middle knob had a different stem. Darn! I can't find that size! I had to send it back...not because of the knob but my stove! I wish it had worked!

Order the lower oven knob suggested as an additional knob for this set. Order one more of THIS nice heavy metal knob. Notice the lower oven control shaft is bigger and the flat side is upside down. Easy fix. Remove the black plastic back plate from both and install the new lower oven plastic part on the new nice heavy metal knob. Pay attention to how the flat side is oriented. You might need to Dremel off a bit of the perimeter of the plastic to get a nice fit. Voila. All new matching metal knobs. Save the unused plastic plate for replacement some day. After all it is plastic.

This product was not metal, all plastic. It fit on too tight so much that I almost pulled up my range too trying to get it off.

These are much better than the plastic crappy knobs my GE Profile range came with and also the ones I bought from GE to replace the first ones that shriveled and melted. They're metal and slightly larger than the originals, which makes them easier to handle.
