Good Product
Let me start by saying that this is the first time I have used a "flapper" type disk for grinding. I cannot compare this product to similar products. Also, my opinion is aimed at weekend DIY type people. What I can say is that these disks worked great. They offer far more control as far as removing material and the final finish. I normally use grinding or sanding disks. While using disks I always had to be careful not to "gouge" the material. These flapper disks remove material quickly without the tendency to "gouge" the metal. I was able to achieve a smooth finish without much effort. I wish I had tried this type of disk sooner. If you have a lot of material to remove a rigid disk is probably the way to go but if you are just cleaning up and smoothing a weld these are flapper disks are much easier to use.

Work great but wear down quickly, short life
Discs are ok, they work great but once you use it for a bit they wear down quickly, their life is short.

For those times you need a narrow solution on your 5-inch grinder
Summary: I used 5" discs most times on my Milwaukee M18 Fuel grinder, but I ran into a situation where I used a friend's grinder, with a 4" disc, specifically to grind the inside of a car tire, in preparation for a plug/patch (yes, not the right tool for the job, should have been an air grinder). Regardless, this demonstrated that I should have 4-inch discs in my tool box for such times as this. Observations: These discs seem pretty good, I was looking specifically for an assorted grit pack, and this is the closest I could find in the 4-inch offering (80 and 320 grit). Took a quick video to show that the disc was smooth and wobble free. Pros: Good fit & finish; works on the industry standard 5/8-11 thread size. Cons: None. Conclusion: At $17 for ten discs, that's $1.70/each, so pretty low cost. Will update as I get some grind time on the discs.

I Would Recommend This
So Far I've Used 1 of each and have had No Issue with Any of them. I have given 1 of each to my Husband. He does more Aggressive grinding/sanding than Me and He's not had any Problems with Them either. I think they're a good value.

Good quality great deal
A great deal. I paid more than $8 for one at Lowe’s, though not quite as heavy duty these discs are well made.

Impressive
The grit stays on these well so they last. Shapes solid brass quickly on a knife hilt.
