VERY happy with these flip-flops!
All my life I have either gone barefoot or worn flip-flops from April through October (and on warm days throughout the winter - of which there are many here in Charleston, SC.) During the cooler months, I wear Uggs (no support) or dressier flats and boots when I go out. Unfortunately, decades of zero arch support caused me to recently develop plantar fasciitis - a VERY painful and even debilitating foot condition. "You have to wear orthotic shoes or orthotic inserts every second you're on your feet," my doctor said. "Even when you wake in the night to go to the bathroom, slip on orthotic house shoes." Nooooo!I bought some orthotic insoles to put in my existing shoes, but they hurt my feet and slipped around, so I took a chance on these flip-flops. Boy am I glad I did. I can feel the relief as soon as I put them on, and they feel wonderful for hours - right out of the box too. No "break-in" time.Having said this, I am very relieved I listened to other reviewers and went down a size, otherwise these flops would be going back. I am a true size 9 with a slightly wide foot, and these size 8s are PERFECT. A size 9 would have been WAY too big. I really debated on whether I should buy a smaller size, but I ended up making the right decision. Love those Amazon reviews!I also bought house slippers from the same company. They are the ugliest things I've ever worn, and they feel heavenly on my feet. :)I will admit, however, I was very VERY hesitant to spend $60+ on flip-flops and $50+ on house shoes, but the pain relief has totally been worth it. No regrets. Whereas I was hobbling and limping about a week ago, I am now walking without pain or a limp. I'm delighted.Highly recommended!

So far so good!
These flip flops just arrived yesterday, but I'm very excited about them so I wanted to write a review! I typically wear a 7.5 but I bought a 7 and it fits perfect. The strap is loose for me but I have really skinny feet so that always happens to me. I bought these to wear around the house and so far I think they're great and the support is pretty good. I have a pretty high arch so I know these are probably not as high enough for my needs but it's better than no support at all. I decided to get these because I have been experiencing back pain to the point where when I'm at home I'm pretty much lying in bed most of the time. I can't sit at my desk for long periods because it hurts too much.I am a student and am currently taking an Anatomy class and we recently learned about fallen arches being a cause of back pain. The arches of your feet are designed to support the weight of your body and when your arches have fallen your body redistributes the weight to your knees, when your knees give out it redistributes the weight to your hips, when your hips can't take it anymore it redistributes the weight to your back and when your back can't take it anymore you experience back pain because the body can't redistribute that weight anywhere else. I suspect this is what has happened to me and that is why I decided to buy these sandals.Style wise they are not too bad. I would wear these out of the house with a very casual outfit but I probably wouldn't wear these with a cute outfit.

helps with plantar fasciitis pain
These thongs are exactly what I had hoped they would be from reading the product description. The footbed is firm but not hard, and has a good heel cup as well as a high arch support. I was skeptical that I was actually pronating the foot with the heel pain, but wearing this shoe has made me realize just how much pronation was going on. I can feel the lift not only under my arch, but inside the arch, and I can also feel the difference in my knee and sacroiliac joint on the problematic side (and, by the way, I commonly wear shoes/thongs with firm arch support, but did not experience this effect with any of them). The shoe helps me to be able to stand and walk for longer, though I must still rotate from this shoe to one or two others as the day goes on to manage pain. I have only been wearing this about five days, so I hope that as I adjust to the support, I will be able to wear it for longer, and that it will be more beneficial. No miracle; my pain has not suddenly disappeared, but this thong is vey comfortable and helpful in overall management. And it doesn't look like an old lady shoe.A word on size--when I first put it on, I was afraid I might have to send back for another size; I am a pretty reliable 8 in flipflops and the thong straps felt loose, the footbed a bit large. But as I walked around in it, I realized that the "looseness" did not make it flappy or unstable in its fit, and actuallly made the fit of the thong between the toes quite forgiving and comfortable. So I kept the 8's I had ordered, and find them a very good fit.
