This didn't come in the canister shown, but rather a zip-top style bag -- which doesn't bug me, but isn't as shown. I am really excited to start incorporating this on days I have intense workouts. I am really glad to have found a whole-food, vegan style protein powder without soy. The trade-off is that this does not taste like chocolate -- maybe some people enjoy this in water, but I will definitely be making protein smoothies with banana and ice. It doesn't have all the sugar and crap that makes other mixes taste like desert, and that's a good thing: you don't need that crap. So if you are looking to use something health enhancing this would be it, if you want to drink chemicals that taste sweet and desert-y look elsewhere.

Good ingredients. Not sweet. I use one scoop instead of two. The recommended two scoops has a lot of protein! For those looking for something with flavor, the chocolate flavor is very subtle. It can also be a little bit chalky on its own in water but I don't mind it. I just add it into my blender with a banana and some nuts and I'm good to go. Filling post workout snack (or perhaps a meal if you do the two full scoops and a bit more in your smoothy). Like it better than other brands.

I really didn't like the taste of this product and tried to process a return but the company doesn't allow returns based the customer not liking the taste, which I understand but in this day and age, in a product area that has so much competition, I was hoping for more understanding customer service. Bad business move on their part. I am going to have to throw this away. It was so bad, I couldn't even choke down 1 serving. If you're in doubt on whether you'll like the taste, don't waste your money (because you won't get it back). Go with RM Veggie Elite Dietary Supplement, Chocolate Mocha instead. Tastes a million times better, has more protein and is roughly the same price for almost 3 times the product.Epic...I hope you at least take this feedback and work on the taste of your formula.

I purchased this because a food blogger I was really into recommended this product. As I'm always looking to try a new, healthy protein powder, I decided to give it a shot. Now I can tolerate a lot but I think this tastes pretty darn bad. It's not one of those protein powders you can throw in a Blender Bottle with almond milk and just go with it. You probably need bananas or dates to make this one tolerable. I'm going to pass because it tickled my gag reflex a bit much.

The chocolate maca flavor is enjoyable, especially when blended with coconut milk, banana and blueberries. Blends smoothly. My only complaint is that it's rather expensive for the number of serving per bag compared to the whey protein I use.

This tastes gross. My trainer and I are trying to find a plant based protein shake without all the bad fillers and bad sugar supplements. As far as the nutritional facts this product is right on the mark but I can't drink it unless I pinch my nose and just try not to taste it. I've tried blending it with fruits like bananas or strawberries just to get rid of some of the taste but it is pretty horrible.

It does not have a strong chocolate flavor but it's not bad. I drink smoothies in the morning with two scoops and it keeps me pretty full until lunch so that's a definite plus.

Functionally, this protein is great. Lightweight and very friendly on your system. If only it tasted a little better...
