Nob snapped on just as it should and have no problems so far. Matches exactly, operation is as expected and seems to be a quality replacement. (Has been used for 3 months with moderate use)

The Control knob om my dryer broke off/At first I went to Home Depot and Lowes which did not have the part needed. One gave me a website which mentioned it would take approx a week for me to receive and the shipping price cost more than the part and the other store gave me an address of a nearby parts store which was closed for the 4th of July weekend. I then went on Amazon and easily found the part needed for my dryer and gave a list of all the different dryer models it fit and because of Amazon Prime shipping was free and I actually received it the next day and the parts store was still closed . The control knob fits perfectly and the dryer is working as good as it ever did/ Well satisfied.

The prior control knob I ordered from a different shipper broke after a year and a month. This one comes with a metal ring around the exterior of the inner tube where you would push into the dryer's rod for the knob. It was not a tight fit, I had to wrap some tape around the rod and push the knob into it. So far, working pretty well. Hopefully that metal ring will provide the extra strength to the know and the plactic portion will not break from the fatigue stress of turning the knob. So my dryer knob broke some time ago and I bought a replacement here on amazon that was the cheapest option I saw. It worked fine for about a month or so and then it broke too. That's what you get, I suppose, for buying the cheapest option. This knob was advertised as being more durable and thus far I completely concur. When it arrived I could tell immediately that it was made of better materials as it was heavier and had a more polished look to it. It easily snapped into place and had a more secure feel to it's grip on the lever in the dryer mechanism. I've have no problems with it thus far. I definitely recommend spending just a few more dollars to get this knob over the flimsy, entirely plastic, cheapest option you'll see offered. This was a much better choice and I wished I purchased this one the first time around.

A better version of the original. The plastic area where the male piece of the timer switch inserts into the knob is reinforced with a steel ring making this more durable than the original. The color is pretty much the same as the original and it's very easy to install, just slip off the old one and slip on the new one.

Does not fit tight on timer shaft. Come on China, you can do better than that.

I am a firm believer in my older appliances. They work better than my new ones! Perfect example is this dryer……it has been through two washers after it lost its match. So when something as simple as a knob broke I immediately hit the web looking for a replacement. The cheapest place I found before this was $24 on a google search. Still cheaper than a new dryer. Hesitant to order from Amazon as they have lost 2 of my previous returns and refuse to credit me for them claiming they have not received the items even though UPS says otherwise, I figured if they were going to fail at this return as well, it was only a few bucks. Thankfully this knob works perfectly. It is the same quality as the original and hopefully will last as long! I believe it will as this knob has a metal band to reinforce the turning point. I’m impressed.
