For someone that has thick hair and is focused on using products that aren’t going to kill your hair, this product is amazing. The best product I’ve found that holds my hair, and doesn’t leave it looking greasy or weigh a ton. Would recommend to anyone with thick hair!

It doesn't have any serious hold so I use it to give my hair a "finished" look. I normally style with a leave-in conditioner and a blow-dryer. The consistency is almost like honey, and it drips everywhere when scooping a sample out with a fingertip. The paste smells great, like a citrus body wash product.

For the past 20 years I've tried different hair products but never seen anything like Mister Pompadour Moroccan Texture Paste, I love it. It's the exact product that I've been looking for. Everything about this product is perfect - the scent, hold, and the shine are exactly perfect without feeling that you have something on your hair. No stiffness or flakiness. Mister Pompadour keep up doing all the good work that you guys are doing, honestly your product is amazing and all natural. Every time i try to re-order - it's sold out and that I have to wait untill amazon notifies me that the product has been re-stocked.

I've been using Mister Pompadour Moroccan Texture Paste for a decade. I gave it 5 stars then becasue it was a quality product made from quality natural ingredients that had a premium texture and scent. Over time, the product got more expensive, but I continued purchasing it because it was a premium product (IMO). Sadly, the Moroccan Texture Paste has a new formula that is significantly different. It's not the same color, texture, consistency, or scent. It's a different styling experience. It lacks the premium-ness that the original formula had. My low rating is also influenced by the fact that the product images don't reflect the new formula changes. As such, I feel like the product is being misrepresented. I hope they change the product images and description soon (so as to match the new product formula).

I have medium hair closer to the long side that just doesn’t want to do what I want it to. The way I used the texture paste was just how they said to...on the ends of longer hair to provide texture. Works perfect. Also, smells fantastic. My favorite of the pompadour products so far :) I use the texture powder and beeswax paste as well to set it in place.

Great product. I have 6 inches of wavy hair on top and the hold is amazing. I would definitely say this is more medium/high hold than just medium, so long as your not trying any style that needs massive volume. I can get about 1 to 2 inches of volume that will hold for most of the day any higher and it tends to fall. For styles where I want volume I'll use this as a prestyler and finish with a clay for high hold. I would say the product is more medium shine than semi matt when used as a finishing product.

This stuff is weird. It's not terrible, but I'm not sure that I like it rally. The smell is the issue. It's hard to describe, but I don't find it particularly masculine. I don't know, kind of "tropical" or "exotic" or something. Makes me think of the smell of the fruit section in an Asian market. I love fruit, but I don't want to smell like it. However, it works as advertised and is easy to use for styling and mild hold. Decent in short or long hair. Very little residue afterwards. If you're a smoker or have intense body odor or wear cologne or something , then this product's smell probably won't be an issue.

I love the product, I wish it had a little bit firmer of a hold. But the finish is great and the smell is very fresh. Adds great texture and it’s super easy to apply. I recommend applying on dry hair over wet but that’s just my preference.
